I’m sharing my recent experience with Funded Futures Family because what happened deserves to be known. I was managing two 50K accounts, each with a comfortable safety buffer of around $9,500, well above the required minimum. At the time of purchase, I was following the rules that were in place, including the previous microscalping framework. Nothing indicated that a rule change could lead to a complete removal of profits. FFF later modified its microscalping rule. The official page simply states “Updated over 3 weeks ago,” with no precise date, no archive of the previous rule, and no communication sent to traders. There is no way to know when the rule changed or whether it applies to accounts purchased before. The dashboard provides no indicator to track this rule: no counter, no percentage, no alert. It’s impossible to know whether you are compliant or not. My payout request was denied without proof, only with generic replies repeating the rule. Then FFF removed all of my profits. Since I received nothing from them to justify this decision, I had to extract all my data from Tradovate myself. It’s not easy to analyze, but the numbers are clear: the day after and on the same day as my exchange with FFF, I was below the threshold, at 48.6%. The day before, I was around 50.5% or 51%, which shows that one or two trades were enough to move back under the limit — which was already the case when I checked. Short trades represented only 18% of all trades. Even under their new rule, I was not in violation. If I had known about the rule change, I would simply have waited before submitting my payout request. But without communication, without a date, and without visibility, it was impossible to know the rule had changed. Here is what I observe today: a rule change with no date and no communication, retroactive application, no proof provided, a dashboard that doesn’t show the required metrics, and a complete removal of profits. I was genuinely satisfied with FFF until now. I never thought I would have to write something like this, but what happened is serious enough to share. FFF has clearly changed, and not for the better.

I’m an experienced futures prop firm trader and approached Futures Funded Family with realistic expectations around risk, drawdowns, and payouts. Unfortunately, my experience did not align with how this firm presents itself publicly. Despite frequently emphasizing that they are flexible and trader-first, the actual structure and decision-making were rigid and firm-centric. While working toward my next payout, I was on day 5 of the required 7 qualifying days of $200+ when I was notified that I would be moved to their live account. This transition required forfeiting a $15,000 buffer that had already been built, with no option to complete the remaining two days and request another payout. Upon moving to live, I was reset to 5 micro contracts and informed that I would need to generate $4,000 in profit just to scale to one mini contract. Given my performance, I asked whether there was any alternative structure or flexibility. None was offered. The response was effectively take it or leave it. So I forfeited the offer. Over time, after two successful payouts and generating approximately $20,000 in total profits, I was only able to retain about $4,000 personally. Between buffers, forced transitions, scaling constraints, and payout limitations, the economics strongly favor the firm. Clear warning to other traders: if you have real market experience and understand how capital efficiency and scaling should work, this firm is not aligned with your interests. The branding suggests flexibility and trader advocacy, but the execution does not support that narrative. Based on my experience, I do not recommend using this firm.
