Background: When I qualified for live account transition, I was told by Lucid that there was no guaranteed timeline for the live transition. Given that uncertainty, Lucid agents gave me the option to cash out instead of waiting indefinitely. I accepted that option and cashed out. At that point, I was told my accounts would be placed on a cooling period, and once the cooling period ended, my paused accounts — which had NOT been blown — would be automatically reactivated and available to trade again. This was not a vague promise. It was confirmed by multiple agents across multiple support tickets. The Timeline of Broken Promises: March 18, 2026 — Agent Luke (Ticket #84439565) I specifically asked whether my paused accounts would reactivate and whether I needed to take any action. Agent Luke confirmed: "All accounts on cooldown should be active again come April. It should be automatic once the pause is over." I relied on this confirmation and did not purchase new accounts. April 1, 2026 — Agent Bones (Ticket #88296192) When my accounts were still paused on April 1, I followed up. Agent Bones gave me a new specific date: "The actual return date is 4/26. There was some confusion — until we could clear the backlog of live traders, this will allow a smooth transition to returning live traders." Again I waited, relying on this specific date. April 26, 2026 — Agent Rex (Ticket #95851819) On the exact date Bones confirmed — April 26 — Agent Rex informed me for the first time that paused accounts cannot be reactivated and I would need to purchase entirely new accounts to continue trading. This directly contradicts everything I was told across two prior tickets by two different agents. The Retaliation: When I filed a formal complaint documenting this misrepresentation, my account was blocked from making any purchases on the same day — with the message: "This account or IP has been blocked from making purchases. Please contact support." I have full exported transcripts of all three support conversations documenting every promise made. I followed Lucid's own agents' instructions at every step. I cashed out instead of waiting for live transition based on their advice. I waited through the cooling period based on their specific promises. I waited until April 26 based on their specific date confirmation. Now I am being told none of it applies, I need to buy new accounts, and I cannot even make purchases because my account has been blocked — on the same day I filed a complaint. I have three documented support transcripts. I acted in good faith at every step. Lucid Trading did not. Traders considering Lucid Trading should be aware that agent promises — even specific ones with specific dates — may not be honored, and that filing a complaint may result in your account being blocked. Payouts hit my account in under 15 minutes which still kind of trips me out every time. The EOD trailing drawdown is also way easier to work with than the intraday stuff most other firms run, especially if you swing during the session. I jumped in through their LucidPro eval and threw in code TIMMY at checkout for 40% off, which honestly made it a no brainer to try them out. Profit split is 90% on the funded side which is up there with the best in the industry.
