E8 Prop Firm doesn’t live up to the hype, especially their E8 Signature account. To be fair, their customer support is genuinely excellent, fast, helpful, and professional. That’s the main positive. However, the funded phase feels designed to work against traders: You must build a $1,000 buffer before you can even attempt a withdrawal. After your first withdrawal (max $1,000), the rules become much stricter, you need at least 5 winning trades of $300+ each before qualifying for another payout. Your second withdrawal is still capped at $1,000. Withdrawals are processed via a third-party company, which also takes a cut from your 80% profit split. And remember, you’re still trading on a demo account. Overall, the transition from challenge to funded account feels like a trap. The rules tighten in a way that makes it harder to succeed or withdraw profits. If you decide to close the account, that $1,000 buffer is gone. In my opinion, E8 doesn’t support traders, it feels more like a system set up for you to fail and take your money. There are better prop firms out there that are more transparent and trader-friendly. I’d advise others to think very carefully before signing up.
