It’s a decent firm, customer support will get back to you and help you and I appreciate that. But the two stars come in because of the consistency rule in the funded account. Imagine, you pass a challenge, you have 5 days profitable, over 10K in profits, but now can’t withdraw anything because you made too much money in a day and so they move the goal post of the profit target by increasing it so now you have to make an additional couple thousands to get a measly 1,500 when with another prop firm I could withdraw 8K and actually be rewarded for my efforts. And the only benefit is supposedly when you get moved to a live account, you get to keep more of the money you earned but even then now you’re moved to an even smaller consistency goal. The trader, who is confident is in skills to be able to earn large wins does not benefit here and is actually hindered because efforts elsewhere such as as with MFF, I would least been able to pull out 3K or with top step I could’ve pulled out even more. The trade offs to use this firm, aren’t worth it in my opionion, I won’t be wasting anymore money with this firm and would recommend others to any where else but be mindful of what rules actually work in your favor.

I heard good things about Lucid Trading, so I decided to give them a try. I initially bought a set of four accounts and failed them a few times, but after trying again, I eventually passed all four. Then, over the weekend, I received a message saying my simulated funded accounts were paused because some accounts had been given for free. What was frustrating is that Lucid said they were aware of this issue during the week but chose not to notify traders to avoid disruptions. I would have preferred to know earlier, because I was suddenly hit with an unexpected $500 bill if I wanted to continue trading my funded accounts. This was frustrating since I budget a specific amount on a credit card for trading and thought my accounts were already paid for. After paying that bill, I continued trading but ended up blowing the accounts, which was fine since that was my own trading error. However, the following week I decided to buy four more accounts to try the evaluation again. This time, the platform was extremely laggy and glitchy. It took over ten minutes for each account to process, and I was charged five times instead of four. Because of this, I missed my entire morning setup, and when I finally entered my first trade, the platform double-clicked and placed double the position size, causing me to blow the new accounts as well. There were also multiple reports at the same time that Project X was broken, and it seemed like the entire system, including the website, was lagging that morning. On top of that, I was charged for 6 accounts instead of 4. I noticed these charges on my credit card as pending and wrote into support, who told me I wouldn't be charged for the 2 I didn't order. However, these charges did post to my account, and luckily I was watching it, as I had to go back to Lucid and request them to refund those charges. Overall, the CEO appears to be very involved and genuinely trying to address these issues, but it’s clear Lucid is experiencing some growing pains. If they can work through these technical and communication issues, I think Lucid has the potential to become one of the top firms in the space. For now, though, I would recommend waiting until everything is running more smoothly.

You want me to be honest. Are they the worst prop? No Are there better ones? YES. They do not have the means to be a competitor and are farming money from traders until they do suddenly become better. The customer service is NOT good at all, they are affiliated with Tradovate yet they dont have the ability to fix any of your trades that might go wrong from an outage. That was the case for me, they reset my account entirely and erased all profits entirely. In such scenarios, they should offer some sort of better customer service which they didn't. At least with Tradify when I had a similar issue, they offered way better customer service and even gave a complimentary code to use when I wanted. Even Topstep does that for the traders. It worries me when customer service is a stressful time with prop firms like lucid. ALL IN ALL - I DO NOT RECOMMEND LUCID AT ALL.

I bought multiple accounts based on direct assurances from their CEO (AJ) that inactivity rules were "per user," not per account so I stocked up. Fast forward to October: three of my accounts, each up $800 to $1,000 in profits, get deleted for "inactivity." When I got the warning email two weeks earlier, I immediately ticketed support (ticket #42748586), and agent Jerome explicitly told me to ignore it because it was an error and my accounts wouldn't be touched. Now? They're gone. No profits restored, no refunds, nothing. Support (Gale and Rick) apologized profusely for the "miscommunication" but flat-out refused to fix it beyond giving me three brand-new, empty starter accounts. They claim the old policy changed (announced in June, apparently), but that doesn't excuse giving me bad info twice, once from the CEO and once from support right before the deletion. And their "leeway" explanation? Laughable. They let accounts sit dormant for months without a proper warning, then when I finally got one I was specifically told by their customer service to ignore it because it was an error and then they proceed punish me for following their own advice. The platform works fine technically, and the AI chatbot is quick to respond. I don't think AJ is aware of this issue unfortunately, but I'm unable to contact him directly. But the customer service is a joke when it comes to accountability. If you're okay with potential bait-and-switch tactics and zero recourse for errors on their end, go for it. Are all prop firms the same? I wanted to believe Lucid was different, but I guess not..
