I had a very disappointing experience with Lucid Trading regarding their discount coupon system and customer support. I won a 40% off auto-apply promo coupon valid until April 19, 2026. The official rule clearly stated the discount would apply automatically at checkout with no extra steps needed. I purchased a Pro eval account on April 19 at 8:47 AM EST, which I believed was still within the coupon validity window. However, the system did not use the 40% off promo at all. Instead, it automatically consumed another of my PROMOVAULT RELOAD coupons without my prior consent. Support claimed the coupon expired at 12:01 AM EST the same day, hours before my purchase. There was no clear notice that the coupon expired at midnight rather than the end of the day at 23:59 EST. The website also never warned users that entering an extra "Lucky" code would disable the automatic 40% off promo and force using another coupon instead. The rules are vague, the system time logic is confusing, and the checkout coupon priority is not explained anywhere. When I asked support to review the time discrepancy and compensate the expired/ misused 40% off coupon, they simply refused any reimbursement without reasonable accommodation. Very poor transparency, unclear terms, and unhelpful customer service. I cannot recommend this platform.
