Their trading environment is top notch. Do not listen to anyone that says otherwise. I used to tell everyone E8 is the gold standard for prop firm US users. It's been months since I checked their current rules and challenges, and they make it harder every time. In the beginning of the year they added a payout consistency rule. I check again and it's more challenging. I "understand" the ultra restrictive risk mitigation rules placed on me as a funded trader (I don't agree but I understand every reputable firm does this), but these new rules are restrictive beyond belief. Trading Leverage is slashed across the board (If you trade Gold, Indices or Crypto this matters most). And now, they offer Dynamic Drawdown instead of total drawdown ONLY. Your drawdown level decreases based on how profitable you are, until it reaches your original balance and then it is "suggested" that you keep a "buffer" of profits in your account which would be treated as future drawdown because any dollar amount below your original balance would be a breach. In how many more ways can a prop firm tell you "we don't want you to grow or succeed". Paying a premium for E8 while getting less. Inflation hit the prop firm industry? It is hard enough becoming a profitable trader. It is apparent that the industry as a whole is adjusting to a more challenging environment. Watching E8 fall from grace like this is a sad sight. To get these rules thrown at you is discouraging. With rules changing almost monthly, in what direction is E8 headed? Why not allow for scaling and copy trades of consistent traders.......which might foster a less restrictive philosophy for success? Certainly going to explore FTMO next year. Perhaps Brightfunded and their suppozed "sus" trading environment? Brightfunded doesn't offer a trial account (shady), offers pretty good discounts (duble shady) but at least they aren't changing rules every other month.

In my experience, the Customer Service Department of any business is extremely important to the growth of a business. E8's CSD has been very responsive and helpful with every inquiry I've had. I appreciate their platform and how it's setup because as long as you know what you're doing and have a plan, you will succeed.
