In my two-and-a-half weeks as a customer of E8, I have found them to be impersonal, unresponsive, and uncaring. I have received 15 e-mails from E8 during that span. Not one contained the name of or was signed by a person. Last Tuesday, I drew down my challenge account past the drawdown limit and received a message that I found condescending, impersonal and uninformed with such comments as: "we regret to inform you"; "Remember that not every day is a winning day in trading"; "We believe in your potential". I responded to their cancellation with this: Thank you for your note. I have been struggling to get my EA, which runs successfully on TradingView when written in PineScript, translated into Python so that it runs successfully on TradeLocker. I was premature in launching it onto your platform—hence the excessive drawdown. I continue to work on the EA. Do you know of anyone or anything that can translate my PineScript into Python?? Also, when I signed up with E8, you had a special going (dedicated to the winner of your largest all-time payout) which offered to give me two tries to win the challenge for the price of one. Could you please verify that and if possible, reinstate me with TradeLocker for my second challenge. If not, please let me know how to purchase another challenge. Thanks— Three days have gone by and I have not received a response. Absent a reply, I was prepared to bite the bullet and buy a fresh challenge but I could not find the “retry button” they told me in my turndown letter to use. And when I tried to order a new challenge from the online interface, it was denied for no stated reason. I notified the company of this two days ago but once again, no response to date. To add insult to injury, it appears that in terminating my account, they also deleted all of the work I had done developing my Python code. In the course of my association with E8, I was never once asked “How is it going with TradeLocker?” However, two of their e-mails did urge me to report my experiences with E8 to TrustPilot. Why would they think that my experiences would cast positive light on their company?

Account wiped after 200k profit: here’s what happened to me Profits erased and account marked as “failed” for alleged inactivity Account no. 5009464 I am an experienced Italian trader and I traded with E8 Markets under an “Independent Contractor” agreement on a paid demo account. In my case, after months of trading while respecting the stated risk limits, I grew the account to over 200,000 USD in total profit (with an account balance above 400,000 USD including profits), according to the official statements from the platform. At some point the company closed my account, marking it on the dashboard as “Account failed – Maximum inactivity period reached” and completely wiping both capital and profits, without giving me any real practical opportunity to withdraw what I had earned. According to the account reports, the last positions were closed by the system/API and not by me, and the balance was then brought down to zero through “System balance change” transactions. On top of closing the account, the company also forcibly closed my open trades, through orders sent by the system/API, and only after these technical closures was the balance progressively brought to zero via “System balance change” entries. In the contract I signed there is a specific clause on a “Dormant Account” and a termination procedure which requires written notice and 5 business days to withdraw profits, with a possible 500 USD monthly “maintenance fee” until the balance is brought back to the initial capital. In my case, however, this procedure was not applied: I found my account marked as “failed” due to alleged inactivity, despite documented trading activity and high profits, and with an immediate wipe-out of everything. The company referred to an “inactivity” rule in the website FAQ/Terms (requirement to open and close at least one trade within 60 days) which, as it was used in my case, resulted in the total cancellation of all earned profits, in contrast with the provisions of the main contract (requirement to open at least one position on any one day in each calendar month). I consider this behaviour to be severely unfair towards a trader who operated while respecting risk limits and the essential agreed conditions. I have decided to make my experience public, supported by the contract, account statements and screenshots, and to report the case to the relevant authorities (Italian, European and US), so that anyone assessing this company in the future can do so with full awareness. I strongly, urge anyone considering working with E8 Markets to read the contractual documents extremely carefully and to consider the risk that, even after generating significant profits, these may be wiped out by unilaterally applied “inactivity” rules. Supporting documentation (contract, account statements, dashboard screenshots, emails) is available and can be provided upon request to Trustpilot or to anyone interested in verifying these facts. E8 can lick my hole! Upmost ridiculous decision making, extremely slow and making it as hard as possible to ever get paid. Don’t bother spending money here. Cost me €15k to learn my lesson
