A futures-focused prop firm. Since 1 March 2026 Apex has run on a new product line: end-of-day drawdown, built-in scaling, a 50% consistency requirement and no payout denials. Accounts are a one-time payment with a lifetime activation fee paid only after passing, and traders may hold several at once. Platforms include NinjaTrader, Tradovate, Rithmic and WealthCharts. Accounts bought before March 2026 run under the legacy rules.

Trading Rules

News trading is permitted as part of a normal strategy. Chasing news spikes or placing orders on both sides of the market around a release is not allowed.

All positions must be closed before 4:59 PM ET every trading day. Overnight and weekend holding is not permitted. Trading reopens at 6:00 PM ET.

Hedging is not permitted: no simultaneous long and short positions on the same or correlated instruments, including across accounts.

Copying trades from other traders is not permitted.

Automated trading, algorithms and HFT are not permitted. Manual trading only.

Every trade needs risk management; using the drawdown threshold as a stop loss is not allowed.

Type: EOD Trailing. The threshold is calculated once a day from the closing balance (4:59 PM ET) and enforced in real time during the next session.

On Rithmic and WealthCharts the drawdown stops trailing once it reaches the balance with the profit target (e.g. $53,000 for 50K); on Tradovate it keeps trailing.

$25K Account: $500

$50K Account: $1,000

$100K Account: $1,500

$150K Account: $2,000

Hitting the limit closes your positions and pauses trading until the next session. The evaluation is not failed.

Maximum Contracts

$25K Account: 4 minis / 40 micros

$50K Account: 6 minis / 60 micros

$100K Account: 8 minis / 80 micros

$150K Account: 12 minis / 120 micros

Fixed for the whole evaluation, no scaling. 10 micros = 1 mini; orders above the limit are rejected without a breach.

Additional Rules

Consistency Rule: None.

Minimum Trading Days: None, you can pass in 1 day.

Time Limit: 30 calendar days from purchase, no extensions.

Fees: one-time payment, no subscription. No resets — after a failed evaluation you buy a new one.

Funded account activation fee, due within 7 days of passing: one-time, the current amount is shown next to the account in the table (Apex changes it during promotions); "No Activation Fee" accounts pay nothing.

Unresponsive Support and Delayed Payout - Ticket #1513636

I am extremely disappointed with the lack of communication regarding my payout. I have strictly followed all trading rules, and my status remains "Eligible," yet I have received no updates or processing confirmation. I have already submitted a support ticket (#1513636) , but the help center has been completely silent. For a prop firm of this size, the delay and lack of response are unacceptable. I am a compliant trader and expect a professional resolution to this matter immediately. Please check my ticket and process the payout.

I have been a member with Apex for over two years and it has been quite the journey. I will say Apex continues to do what they say and support their traders. I was skeptical about the newest accounts being offered, but they set you up for success. Having a daily loss limit really gives you a chance to succeed.

They told me to wait for my payout to…

They told me to wait for my payout to be sent. It's been over 2 weeks now. Of course I still trust Apex Trader Funding, because I have been paid faster in the past. However, if I don't get paid this week I will return here to update you guys. EDIT: Thank you Darrell for your response but I am yet to get my payout. It is now 20 days! I am really not happy about this but I still believe this is a mistake and hope I get paid today.
