Be careful - E8 has some nice features and it looks great on the outside, especially with the $0 commissions, but wow, do they get you with the spreads!!! Not only that, but on some like Bitcoin and Ethereum, the spreads get even higher the more you risk. Example - just had a pretty standard Order Block of 6.17 - had to add 3.5 to the top and bottom to cover the spread, so my Order Block was then 13.17 - more than double!!! Makes it really hard to pass the challenges...

I didn't like the fact that I was passed around to at least 3 different advisers. The first two were not answering my questions and made me feel as if I shouldn't be asking. Andrew came on and was able to give me the answers I needed, regarding the new changes, the new platform and the ongoing changes to come. He allayed my worries about my present account that I cannot get into. He also assured me that I would be able to trade my account and how to login and add new trader. Advisers need to remember that being traders (old or new) a lot of us are anxious about the changes and what they mean for us especially if you trade, but you are not exactly computer literate. New platforms, brokers, downloading, new VPS, not being familiar with new tools etc can be daunting. Thank you Andrew for answering my questions, being patient and understanding.

E8 is the only prop firm that can match the intensity of FTMO. I’ve had the pleasure of working with numerous prop firms, and the amount of shadiness that can be encountered can be quite discouraging. However, since I discovered E8, trading has become enjoyable once again. E8 is a trustworthy prop firm, and I no longer have to worry about whether I’ll receive a payout or not. Additionally, their dashboard, interface, and journal are incredibly impressive. Update! June 18, 2025 After multiple payouts, they added restrictions that aren’t part of the FAQs and are specifically for successful individual accounts. This makes everything even harder! E8 was by far one of my favorites until I experienced the unfairness. Just go to show that prop firm are just a temporary solution to trading long term.
