You're max drawdown, You're max drawdown. That was my first, frustrated reaction after a tough week. However, sticking with it forced me to better understand risk management and the platform's excellent analytical tools. While the feature is tough, the experience it provides is valuable for any serious trader.

Passed a 200k challenge with this firm without violating any trading rules. When they issued me with my funded account they imposed a 1% risk rule on me which in conjunction with their ridiculous consistency rule made it extremely difficult to get to a payout. After around 6 weeks I finally achieved a payout and after 2 days they said that they would only pay me 50% of my funds, as I apparently hadn't complied with their unscrupulous and unfair conditions that were inexplicably imposed. Any trade that lost more than the 1% they had imposed, was as a result of abnormal slippage, which conveniently, I have only experienced with this firm. This is by far the worst prop firm I have experienced and will never use them again. They even made me remove a negative review just to get my payout. Absolute fleece merchants. I would avoid them at all costs.

Oh so wish I didn't have to give a one star rating but they leave me no choice. Like most of us prop firm traders I have passed challenges and I have failed them and If I fail I own up to it, usually my bad decision, my mistake, how it goes. BUT, not this time. On Fridays trading session I got an email saying I violated the daily DD. I have my laptop plugged into a 43 inch TV so the Trade locker app is HUGE, and less then 4 feet from my face. The candles are huge, the numbers are huge, the balance and equity numbers are huge, there is literally no question what they are saying at any given time when I am looking the screen. Can't miss that huge equity balance when you have trades open, it is pretty clear. Well on Friday I was in DD and I was watching carefully, ready to "Close all" if need be. After trading this challenge for 6 weeks I wasn't going to blow it on a DD breach. The DD did start to reverse and headed my way, going from -$1500 to -$1200 to -$800 and then to -$400 and I was almost to BE and all of a sudden my positions closed and I got an email alert about a breach. A FULL 20 MINUTES AT LEAST from my lowest position on the chart. Now any time I have ever blown one on DD breach it closes IMMEDIATELY when the breach occurs, it always does, so I didn't know what was going on. I immediately screen shotted the chart with balance / equity amounts and also showing candles a full 20 minutes from the lowest point of my draw down. I then went to my members area and looked at the trading chart that shows my balance and equity, it showed that my trades went no where near my daily loss amount. I waited an hour and went back, refreshed several times, and it showed the same thing, the chart in members area that staff told me on 2 different occasions was totally ACCURATE the equity showed no where near my daily DD amount. I emailed support and as usual they were fast answering which I appreciate and they told me I violated by $15. Now wait, I was sitting just a few feet from my 43 inch screen watching the equity amount very closely and never violated, it never came near my daily loss amount and as I said I went to my members area and the very accurate E8 high tech chart that shows my trades says I didn't come close to violating, yet they say that doesn't matter, cause if you take this number and add it to this other number and minus this number and multiply it by 1 square over 6 you will see you clearly went $15 over your daily allowed DD, It's so clear how can you not see that??? Whatever! At the end of the day they can say whatever they want and take your account. I clearly saw it didn't breach, their super accurate high tech chart in my members area said it didn't breach, but they say it did, guess who wins the argument :-) On to the next firm and another try at getting another funded account!
