I have been trading with E8 Markets since 2022. I have spent over $68,000 on challenges and received $37,061 in payouts so far. I only used E8 as my prop firm because I trusted them and believed in the process.
I recently passed my challenge on account 5018273. I made a 15% gain and I never risked more than 1% on any trade on this account. I followed every single rule. It was a clean pass.
But instead of issuing my funded account, E8 went back and looked at a completely different account I had before. On that old account, during a news event, one trade went over the 1% drawdown temporarily. I accepted that, I moved on, I bought a new challenge and started fresh on 5018273.
Now they are using that old account’s history to deny my funded account on the new one. I paid for that new challenge separately. I traded it clean. I passed it fair and square. How is it right to punish someone on a new account for something that happened on a different account that I already moved past?
I have emailed them so many times with every document you can think of — trade records, chat history, dashboard screenshots, agreements, everything. I even did an interview with their Risk Team to verify my trading strategy. Every time the answer is the same: “decision is final.” No discussion, no consideration for loyalty, nothing.
I have nearly 8,000 followers on Facebook and a WhatsApp community of 765 members. I have been sharing my E8 funding journey publicly and recommending this firm to so many traders. After this experience, I really cannot do that anymore.
After reading other reviews on Trustpilot, I can see that I am not the only one. There is a clear pattern of traders reaching the funded stage and then getting denied on technicalities. It really makes you wonder if the business model is about collecting challenge fees rather than actually funding traders.
I have all my documents ready and I will be taking legal action if this is not resolved. If you are thinking about joining E8, please think carefully before you spend your money. This is not how a legit company should treat its long-term clients.
