This has been one of the most frustrating experiences I’ve had with any prop firm. I reached the profit goal and submitted a payout request, which was denied due to the so-called 30% Negative P&L (MAE) rule — despite the fact that Apex publicly advertises “NO MAE RULE.” The only justification is that I have a “legacy account,” which is never made clear upfront and feels completely misleading. After that denial, I followed every single condition they gave me to restore eligibility. Their own email stated: “Complete at least 8 new trading days… At least 5 of those 8 days must have $150 or more in profit… Reach a minimum qualifying balance of $54,100… Once these requirements are met… normal Standard Payout Conditions resume…” I did exactly that. No violations. Met all targets. Followed everything precisely. Then I requested a $2,000 payout — and it was denied AGAIN. This time, they introduced completely new and unreasonable demands that were never mentioned before: “We need additional information from you… Video Recording of Trading Sessions… clearly showing the trades being executed, the person executing the trades, and narration of entries, stops, targets…” So, after already meeting all requirements, I’m suddenly expected to record myself trading for multiple days and explain everything on video just to get paid? This is beyond excessive — it feels like they are moving the goalposts every time you get close to a payout. At this point, it’s very hard not to see a pattern: deny payouts, introduce new rules, and make the process as difficult as possible. I have completely lost trust in Apex Trader Funding. Between misleading advertising (“NO MAE RULE”) and constantly changing payout requirements, this does not feel fair or transparent. I would strongly advise traders to stay away.

I realize Apex is playing games with people, Do you know how hard and emotional it is for a trader to get a payout?? After more than 1 month I finally request, it’s been more than 10 days and my payout still haven’t reach my debit card…. For me as a trader that doesn’t make any sense when we buy an EVAL account money is debited so fast why not when we request a payout it doesn’t come that fast the same way? If payout system is not update for Apex I won’t proceeds with them in term of buying more EVAL. We trader we trader for money not just approve my payout and waiting more than 15 days to get it. I am really disappointed.
