I like most things about Apex. The Rules are easy to follow for my trading style and I’ve come back to them so many times after other prop firms. Their payout process is not the best though and is the reason for my low rating. As someone who trades with prop firms to leverage higher levels of capital to make money, one of the most important part about choosing a prop is based on their payout process. Apex is extremely slow. The website says payouts will be approved within 1-2 business days which isn’t bad at all. It’s right up there with some of the best payout policies. The reality though is that I personally am on my 4th business day of waiting for approval. I opened a ticket early yesterday on day three which has gone without a response in the last 24 hours and I feel like I have no idea where everything is at in the process of getting approved and there’s nobody to talk to to get answers to my questions. I am on a legacy account which might be why things are slower? Props to apex for the improvements they made but also as someone who bought into the legacy model I feel like I should still be treated like everybody else is right now. I’m posting this here to hopefully prompt a quicker response.

I have used Apex Funding for several Evaluation Accounts. Some failed miserably, some just fizzled out, but some were successful. Then, some of those Performance Accounts still failed. Not their fault, mostly poor discipline on my part. But I now have 3 PA's still going and my first payout with one pending. There was some confusion on my first payout request, and I'll give them a little side-eyed for that, but to their credit, all my progress is in tact and should be getting paid out on that account now. The payout on the other account has already hit my bank account and been spent! Thank you Apex!

Apex experience was very poor. Stay away. Payout are rules are substandard. Topstep is 10x better
