Apex Trader Funding

This firm is extremely frustrating to deal with. The payout process is made overly complicated, and yet when it comes to denying a payout, they do it with ease. I was never notified immediately about any supposed violation — instead, I only found out days later, after I had wasted more time and money trading for nothing. This is the second time they have denied me a payout, and it honestly feels like they are doing everything possible to avoid paying traders. On top of that, they even take profits that were earned before the alleged violation, which makes no sense and feels like an excuse to keep money that doesn’t belong to them. I’ve spent countless hours trading seriously, only to be punished by their lack of transparency and delayed communication. Traders deserve honesty, fairness, and timely alerts about any issues. Instead, this company’s practices feel misleading and predatory. I cannot recommend Apex Trader Funding to anyone who values their time and money.

I was asked to prove that I’m the one placing the trades and to record a video explaining my trading method. I complied, but my support tickets and emails have gone unanswered for months. This has been a poor experience. I’ll update this review if they respond and resolve my case.

Trading Apex on Wealth Charts... Got up to approximately 950usd in the green on my 50k eval. Flattened the trade. The system never shut the trade down and my account bled out. This was not the first time I noticed wonky behavior with the platform wrt closing trades.. Apex refuses to take responsibility. This may help someone out there having the same issue.

Where do I even begin? I guess by telling you just to stay away from Apex Trader Funding alltogether. I know their challenges are attractively priced and that you can have up to 20 active accounts at a single time, but that's all a mirage covering an unreasonable amount of stupid rules and a customer service team that doesn't care about you or the hard earned money you spend with them. Up until 5 minutes ago, I had 4 active accounts with Apex Trader Funding. 2 of the accounts were funded and I had just put in my first payout request on each of them. The other 2 accounts were less than $1000 from being passed. I put my payout requests in yesterday morning, and I just received 2 emails from them saying I violated a rule and all 4 of my accounts have been canceled. They did not tell me what rule I violated, and the email said that they will not give me any additional information on why this decision was made. HOW CAN THAT HAPPEN? How can a prop firm think it's ok to take my money, let me pass challenges, take more of my money to activate the PA account, allow me to get to the payout request, and then just delete my account - WITHOUT TELLING ME WHY? Now I know what you'e thinking..."why did you break one of their rules?" I didn't. I currently have 9 funded accounts with other prop firms, both forex and futures, and I receive regular payouts. My payouts are smaller than most because I am very careful and I do not take excessive risk. I prioritize taking small profits so that I preserve my live accounts. I make it up by having multiple accounts that deliver small regular payouts. My trading style is perfect for futures trading, and althout Apex has more crap rules than any other firm, I am able to trade within them and earn payouts. So here is what I will say. Topstep is a couple bucks more than Apex Trader Funding, but they have 1 single rule. I have been paid out by Topstep 3 times in the last 3 weeks for almost $6,000, on a single $50k account. No hassles, no rediculous cryptic emails, no waiting. I also have funded accounts with Funded Futures Family and Tradeify, and they are SO much easier to trade with then Apex. The $10-$15 more these firms charge is well worth the money when you're trying to get paid what you earn. I know a lot of influencers rave about Apex because they actually get paid on the 20 accounts without hassle. Just think about that for a minute. Why would Apex payout an influencer with 500,000 subscibers on their Youtube channel? It's obvious that those subscribers are eating up challenges like candy, and Apex is feasting off of it. Do what you're going to do, but if you take away the dirt cheap challenges and the 20 active accounts they let you have, Apex Trader Funding is the WORST futures prop firm in the industry, and it's not even close.

They’re outright stealing money. Constantly changing their statements and hiding behind useless customer service that acts like they can do whatever they want without listening to customers. An absolute bullshit company to deal with.
