Trading Rules

News trading is permitted as part of a normal strategy. Chasing news spikes or placing orders on both sides of the market around a release is not allowed.

All positions must be closed before 4:59 PM ET every trading day. Overnight and weekend holding is not permitted. Trading reopens at 6:00 PM ET.

Hedging is not permitted: no simultaneous long and short positions on the same or correlated instruments, including across accounts.

Copying trades from other traders is not permitted.

Automated trading, algorithms and HFT are not permitted. Manual trading only.

Every trade needs risk management; using the drawdown threshold as a stop loss is not allowed.

Type: EOD Trailing. The threshold is calculated once a day from the closing balance (4:59 PM ET) and enforced in real time during the next session.

On Rithmic and WealthCharts the drawdown stops trailing once it reaches the balance with the profit target (e.g. $53,000 for 50K); on Tradovate it keeps trailing.

Hitting the limit closes your positions and pauses trading until the next session. The evaluation is not failed.

Maximum Contracts

$25K Account: 4 minis / 40 micros

$50K Account: 6 minis / 60 micros

$100K Account: 8 minis / 80 micros

$150K Account: 12 minis / 120 micros

Fixed for the whole evaluation, no scaling. 10 micros = 1 mini; orders above the limit are rejected without a breach.

Additional Rules

Consistency Rule: None.

Minimum Trading Days: None, you can pass in 1 day.

Time Limit: 30 calendar days from purchase, no extensions.

Fees: one-time payment, no subscription. No resets — after a failed evaluation you buy a new one.

Funded account activation fee, due within 7 days of passing: one-time, the current amount is shown next to the account in the table (Apex changes it during promotions); "No Activation Fee" accounts pay nothing.

SCAM

RUN from this scan. i had 185k in a 150k account (35k profit in 30 days of trading). perfect executions with no big drawdown. tried to take a payout. after 1 week waiting they simply terminate my whole account. all my accounts gone. in the email they say they cant tell me the reason why they are doing it. how does it make sense????? i never broke ANY rule. after more than a month trading, spending time trading and making good trading days, getting to a payout and all of a suden they just close your role account with no explanation. this guys should be in jail. run from this scam there are a lot better firms out there.

Very strict rules and vague compared to…

Very strict rules and vague compared to the competition. As soon as you reach the payout point, you receive an email asking you to log your trades over several days and email them, including your tactics. What's dubious is that it explicitly states that you are not allowed to talk to anyone about it, otherwise your account will be closed. They are also very inflexible when it comes to refunds. While other companies will readily issue a refund in the event of a mishap, Apex simply says that it is not their company policy, no matter what.

Scam.

Scam. No matter if you follow all the rules they ask for video and after video even payouts are denied. No explanation just denial after denial. Save your money
