Trading Rules

News trading is permitted as part of a normal strategy. Chasing news spikes or placing orders on both sides of the market around a release is not allowed.

All positions must be closed before 4:59 PM ET every trading day. Overnight and weekend holding is not permitted. Trading reopens at 6:00 PM ET.

Hedging is not permitted: no simultaneous long and short positions on the same or correlated instruments, including across accounts.

Copying trades from other traders is not permitted.

Automated trading, algorithms and HFT are not permitted. Manual trading only.

Every trade needs risk management; using the drawdown threshold as a stop loss is not allowed.

Profit Target

$25K Account: $1,500

$50K Account: $3,000

$100K Account: $6,000

$150K Account: $9,000

Maximum Drawdown

$25K Account: $1,000

$50K Account: $2,000

$100K Account: $3,000

$150K Account: $4,000

Type: EOD Trailing. The threshold is calculated once a day from the closing balance (4:59 PM ET) and enforced in real time during the next session.

On Rithmic and WealthCharts the drawdown stops trailing once it reaches the balance with the profit target (e.g. $53,000 for 50K); on Tradovate it keeps trailing.

Daily Loss Limit

$25K Account: $500

$50K Account: $1,000

$100K Account: $1,500

$150K Account: $2,000

Hitting the limit closes your positions and pauses trading until the next session. The evaluation is not failed.

Maximum Contracts

$25K Account: 4 minis / 40 micros

$50K Account: 6 minis / 60 micros

$100K Account: 8 minis / 80 micros

$150K Account: 12 minis / 120 micros

Fixed for the whole evaluation, no scaling. 10 micros = 1 mini; orders above the limit are rejected without a breach.

Additional Rules

Consistency Rule: None.

Minimum Trading Days: None, you can pass in 1 day.

Time Limit: 30 calendar days from purchase, no extensions.

Fees: one-time payment, no subscription. No resets — after a failed evaluation you buy a new one.

Funded account activation fee, due within 7 days of passing: one-time, the current amount is shown next to the account in the table (Apex changes it during promotions); "No Activation Fee" accounts pay nothing.

Maximum Drawdown

$25K Account: $1,000

$50K Account: $2,000

$100K Account: $3,000

$150K Account: $4,000

Type: EOD Trailing, enforced in real time.

The drawdown stops trailing at your initial balance + $100.

Daily Loss Limit

$25K Account: $500, $1,250 from $2,000 profit

$50K Account: $1,000, $2,000 from $3,000 profit, $3,000 from $6,000 profit

$100K Account: $1,750, $2,500 from $5,000 profit, $3,500 from $10,000 profit

$150K Account: $2,500, $3,000 from $5,000 profit, $4,000 from $10,000 profit

The level is set once a day from the previous closing balance; a lower balance lowers the level.

Hitting the limit closes your positions and pauses trading until the next session. The account stays open.

Maximum Contracts

$25K Account: 1 contract, 2 from $1,000 profit

$50K Account: 2 contracts, 3 from $1,500 profit, 4 from $3,000 profit

$100K Account: 3 contracts, 4 from $2,000 profit, 5 from $3,000 profit, 6 from $5,000 profit

$150K Account: 4 contracts, 5 from $2,000 profit, 7 from $3,000 profit, 10 from $5,000 profit

Scaling plan: the level is set once a day from the previous closing balance.

Additional Rules

Consistency Rule: 50%, applies to payout requests only and never fails the account — see the payout rules.

Safety Net: $26,100 / $52,100 / $103,100 / $154,100 — only profit above it can be withdrawn.

Activity: at least 2 days with $50+ net profit in every rolling 30 days; after 15 days the account goes dormant, after 30 days it is closed.

Maximum Accounts: 20 active funded accounts per household.

Resets: none. Touching the drawdown threshold closes the account permanently.

Live account: by Apex invitation only.

I love apex and I plan to partner with them for a very long term. I have referred several people to this incredible company. I am currently working on passing my evals. I would like to make a special request and recommendation to apex management! Could you guys please consider adding a Reset feature for PERFORMANCE ACCOUNTS? It would really give you guys an edge over your competitions out there. I will suggest starting with at least 2 Resets max for the PAs with a new fee than to start all over doing the evals. It will be a win for both parties. I will passionately appeal that this suggestions be considered soonest. We will keep promoting this life changing opportunity. We sincerely appreciate apex management team and the support crew. You guys are incredible

Great Customer Support

I will update this review once I request a payout but their prices are competitive and their help desk gets back to you very quickly. I rarely have to wait more than a few hours for a reply to my ticket
