Apex Trader Funding

I originally came to Apex via a referral from some other traders I know that made the switch from forex to futures. They regularly have promotional events that offer discounts on evaluation, which I appreciated. The overall process was smooth. I did have a few issues understanding the payout rules. Any time I reached out to support, they were ultimately helpful. Once I fully understood the payout rules, things went much smoother. Some of the rules are kinda stringent, which is frustrating, but they do help you to be a better trader. I successfully passed a couple of evaluations, and got my first payout. I plan to add a few more accounts. I'm writing this review to be helpful to traders evaluating whether or not Apex is the "real deal"... in my personal experience, they are. I do wish some of the rules were simpler, but I understand they have to weed out the gamblers and people looking to abuse the system.

Apextraderfunding allows multiple accounts to trade which is the best thing ever. The daily drawdown is the biggest challenge, and the payout takes about two weeks. I’m still waiting for mine.

The platform is outdated and could use some improvement. The charts and metrics lack what competition has to offer. I found it hard to find things within the platform and the instructions are rather abrasive. The single time I reached out to support was a good experience and was handled within 48hrs. I do wish the communication was better from apex. Follow the rules carefully and you can get a payout. Don’t complain if you can’t follow rules and are denied. It’s pretty simple.

It’s a great prop firm, with rules that promote consistency and help traders grow. I also have to give Apex its props for providing us with quick and efficient payouts. The only problem I have with the prop firm though is that they do change their rules a little more than I would like from time to time
