Trading Rules

News trading is permitted as part of a normal strategy. Chasing news spikes or placing orders on both sides of the market around a release is not allowed.

All positions must be closed before 4:59 PM ET every trading day. Overnight and weekend holding is not permitted. Trading reopens at 6:00 PM ET.

Hedging is not permitted: no simultaneous long and short positions on the same or correlated instruments, including across accounts.

Copying trades from other traders is not permitted.

Automated trading, algorithms and HFT are not permitted. Manual trading only.

Every trade needs risk management; using the drawdown threshold as a stop loss is not allowed.

Type: EOD Trailing. The threshold is calculated once a day from the closing balance (4:59 PM ET) and enforced in real time during the next session.

On Rithmic and WealthCharts the drawdown stops trailing once it reaches the balance with the profit target (e.g. $53,000 for 50K); on Tradovate it keeps trailing.

$150K Account: $2,000

Hitting the limit closes your positions and pauses trading until the next session. The evaluation is not failed.

Maximum Contracts

$25K Account: 4 minis / 40 micros

$50K Account: 6 minis / 60 micros

$100K Account: 8 minis / 80 micros

$150K Account: 12 minis / 120 micros

Fixed for the whole evaluation, no scaling. 10 micros = 1 mini; orders above the limit are rejected without a breach.

Additional Rules

Consistency Rule: None.

Minimum Trading Days: None, you can pass in 1 day.

Time Limit: 30 calendar days from purchase, no extensions.

Fees: one-time payment, no subscription. No resets — after a failed evaluation you buy a new one.

Funded account activation fee, due within 7 days of passing: one-time, the current amount is shown next to the account in the table (Apex changes it during promotions); "No Activation Fee" accounts pay nothing.

Just got my 1st payout in the bank today. Took about 1 week from the request day. Everything great!!! Just one thing, why can't I buy multiple evals at once? Charging my bank account multiple times make it look like an error and my bank keep blocking the transactions.

Honest review

So the prices for evals are good. One thing i dont really like is the fact we dont have the possibility to lock out for the day after acheiving good trading performances. It would help for overtrading etc... It's quite smooth to trade from nt8 and rithmic there. No problems at all.

Apex Delivers – Serious Platform for Disciplined Traders

I’ve been funded with Apex for a while now, and overall my experience has been very positive. I’ve successfully received multiple payouts, and the platform has proven to be reliable and transparent. The rules are clear, and if you follow them with consistency and discipline, you will get paid. One issue I encountered was a payout denial after an accidental over-leveraged trade — I reported the mistake immediately, but it was still counted against me. That was frustrating, but I also understand they strictly enforce their policies. Despite that, I stayed committed, traded responsibly, and was rewarded. Apex is a great choice for serious traders who want a structured environment and are willing to respect the rules and grow over time. Highly recommended for those who treat trading like a profession.
