Trading Rules

News trading is permitted as part of a normal strategy. Chasing news spikes or placing orders on both sides of the market around a release is not allowed.

All positions must be closed before 4:59 PM ET every trading day. Overnight and weekend holding is not permitted. Trading reopens at 6:00 PM ET.

Hedging is not permitted: no simultaneous long and short positions on the same or correlated instruments, including across accounts.

Copying trades from other traders is not permitted.

Automated trading, algorithms and HFT are not permitted. Manual trading only.

Every trade needs risk management; using the drawdown threshold as a stop loss is not allowed.

Type: EOD Trailing. The threshold is calculated once a day from the closing balance (4:59 PM ET) and enforced in real time during the next session.

On Rithmic and WealthCharts the drawdown stops trailing once it reaches the balance with the profit target (e.g. $53,000 for 50K); on Tradovate it keeps trailing.

$150K Account: $2,000

Hitting the limit closes your positions and pauses trading until the next session. The evaluation is not failed.

Maximum Contracts

$25K Account: 4 minis / 40 micros

$50K Account: 6 minis / 60 micros

$100K Account: 8 minis / 80 micros

$150K Account: 12 minis / 120 micros

Fixed for the whole evaluation, no scaling. 10 micros = 1 mini; orders above the limit are rejected without a breach.

Additional Rules

Consistency Rule: None.

Minimum Trading Days: None, you can pass in 1 day.

Time Limit: 30 calendar days from purchase, no extensions.

Fees: one-time payment, no subscription. No resets — after a failed evaluation you buy a new one.

Funded account activation fee, due within 7 days of passing: one-time, the current amount is shown next to the account in the table (Apex changes it during promotions); "No Activation Fee" accounts pay nothing.

I can not give a 5 star review at this…

I can not give a 5 star review at this time due to only passing the Active eval. I have not had a chance for a full experiance review. I had the account for about 1.5 months. Rules are pretty clear and simple. Everything moves quickly and automated. Platforms work. Only thing I would say is make it easier to find a ninja trader set up. I at least had to figure out how to get onto Ninja trader.

Updated review!

I WAS reluctant to give a more positive review BECAUSE I passed my first eval on a Friday morning, received an email on next steps to activate my PA. I paid the PA fee, and then my dashboard said I have no passed eval accounts and no PA account. Very confusing and frustrating. HOWEVER, I did not read the part that says if you pay for your PA on a Friday it will not update UNTIL SUNDAY. Had this been more prominent in the "next steps" body of the email, would have been nice to see that explained and saved a bit of frustration - but all good now!
