I am a new trader, still learning, new to the Apex Trader platform. I didn't cancel an account that was lost during the first month while learning. Once an account is lost, it has no value to the learner. So a new account was started using an easy to find discount code. Unexpectedly, Apex Trader Funding renewed the old account at full price. I thought the old account was closed. After politely requesting a refund, admitting I was still learning, I was informed no refunds are given. Multiple times my refund request (for less than $100) was escalated to Coleman and Coleman refused the refund request and refused the request to forward my refund request to a member of leadership. Certainly my lifetime value as a customer in this space is worth more than the nearly $100 renewal fee and the cost to aquire a new customer is meaningful as well. For the time being, I've paused all purchases from Apex Trader Funding. I even gave Coleman an option of future account credit to continue learning and was denied. From a new customer's perspective, this is a horrible experience. New learners BEWARE!

Worst prop firm ive ever tried, their platform is awful, on tradingview when you enter a position there is no way to put stop loss and take profit unless done before entry, never witnessed anything like that before

My Husband used to trade with Apex, and he had a PA with almost 1k, and two Evals growing. He was trading consistently, with a solid edge built over the years, and obeying all the rules that were in place at that moment (because, as we all know, Apex changes its rules constantly, and it's insane to keep up with them). He didn't violate any rules that he was aware of. Not at any point did he receive a warning email of breaking rules or be put on probation. NOTHING. Then out of nowhere, Apex closes all three of his accounts and blocks him from Apex forever with no explanation of why or warning beforehand. He tried reaching out to them several times to understand what happened and why they did this. No replies at all. Ever. We have used Apex since they first started the company. We have always loved Apex and always defended them against those talking badly and saying things like this or similar were happening to them. We always thought they were just hiding the truth that they actually did something wrong, so as not to be embarrassed. Never thought that Apex was actually doing things like this. They always said, "We will send warning emails if rules are broken and you will be put into a probation phase," and stuff like that, before closing the accounts for good. Yet they didn't do that. We have lost all trust in the company.
