Apex Trader Funding

Cheaper broker especially with resets however lots of rules you have to follow with no transparency on trailing balance. In the portal doesn’t show you at the end of the day the highest your balance got to on an open trade so you have to keep track of your own balance to not blow your account. For example, say your account goes up $7k on an open trade overnight and pulls back to $500 they’ll cancel your account. When funded, you have limited profit you can make per day. Also, often times you can’t move your stop loss above break even. All in all cheaper broker but system is almost setup for you to fail so always keep a stop loss/take profit and monitor your trades heavily. Just being honest with my experience so hopefully they don’t hold it against me and hold future profits when they come up with some fine print rule.

Apex has decent rules compared to the other propfirms buts the payouts take a long time to get into your bank account. Also, the safety net is not my most favorite thing but I understand it. Finally, the 6 payouts to extract money from the safety net profits is also not my favorite.

still Do not understand all the in's and out's of the whole Apex process ! I read and I read .... and look at Videos maybe I am stupid ... but I think Apex needs a PH NUMBER!!. Wealth charts and top Trade Tools and Trade station all have excellent customer service whom you can reach by PH.

Look up their reviews on Prop Firm Match, they tell a different story. Have cleared 3 accounts with Apex for a total of $650k. There are bugs in the platform that can be overcome via order automation with NinjaTrader, don't expect Tradovate to be perfect. Their support team is not knowledgeable and would refer to trading contracts across 2 months as 'the wrong month' instead of 'a futures spread'. Other platforms remove the trailing drawdown after the safety-net is hit, Apex does not. Many consider it predatory, but their evals are also faster. Other platforms allow funded accounts to be reset once, Apex does not. Apex is also cheaper than competitors and removes the monthly account fees. No prop trading firm is perfect, but I will do the right thing and increase the rating if they are honest when I reach payout. Too many one star reviews to have blind faith.

apex was great until back in october they stopped letting me purchase accounts due to " potential live prop " which was a complete lie. i since have blown all my accounts and am essentially banned from apex now having done nothing wrong and have always followed the rules and have gotten paid. i have contacted support every couple of weeks giving apex support plenty of time to respond and have been completely ignored. overall they pay you until you become profitable and ban you with no explanation and without saying your banned. shady company and unethical practices, virtually no transparency. although other issues were solved fairly quickly in the past.
