Trading Rules

News trading is permitted as part of a normal strategy. Chasing news spikes or placing orders on both sides of the market around a release is not allowed.

All positions must be closed before 4:59 PM ET every trading day. Overnight and weekend holding is not permitted. Trading reopens at 6:00 PM ET.

Hedging is not permitted: no simultaneous long and short positions on the same or correlated instruments, including across accounts.

Copying trades from other traders is not permitted.

Automated trading, algorithms and HFT are not permitted. Manual trading only.

Every trade needs risk management; using the drawdown threshold as a stop loss is not allowed.

Type: EOD Trailing. The threshold is calculated once a day from the closing balance (4:59 PM ET) and enforced in real time during the next session.

On Rithmic and WealthCharts the drawdown stops trailing once it reaches the balance with the profit target (e.g. $53,000 for 50K); on Tradovate it keeps trailing.

$150K Account: $2,000

Hitting the limit closes your positions and pauses trading until the next session. The evaluation is not failed.

Maximum Contracts

$25K Account: 4 minis / 40 micros

$50K Account: 6 minis / 60 micros

$100K Account: 8 minis / 80 micros

$150K Account: 12 minis / 120 micros

Fixed for the whole evaluation, no scaling. 10 micros = 1 mini; orders above the limit are rejected without a breach.

Additional Rules

Consistency Rule: None.

Minimum Trading Days: None, you can pass in 1 day.

Time Limit: 30 calendar days from purchase, no extensions.

Fees: one-time payment, no subscription. No resets — after a failed evaluation you buy a new one.

Funded account activation fee, due within 7 days of passing: one-time, the current amount is shown next to the account in the table (Apex changes it during promotions); "No Activation Fee" accounts pay nothing.

the process of passing went smooth but they dont reply to emails. i have one sitting for a a little over a week now, and just submitted another after activating my accoutn for funded so hopefully i get a reply sooner than later, as my questions are urgent

Tricky sales tactics

Tricky sales tactics. I bought a handful of evals for a good discount and they said Activation Fees were only $85 instead of $140. Well, when the sale ended so did the discount on activation fee, which is BS. How will a successful, disciplined trader pass and eval in 2-3 days? Why would I assume the Activation fee would go back up? It's a way to get more money. So anyone who bought an eval and passed it later, ends up paying their huge activation fee. I could've had 2 evals for the same price at a different broker.

Hmmmm, platform suspect

Hmmmm, not sure about these folks. Just started using their Wealthcharts platform and platform is very suspect. More often than not limit orders aren't completely filled. I've never had this issue on other prop firm platforms
