Trading Rules

News trading is permitted as part of a normal strategy. Chasing news spikes or placing orders on both sides of the market around a release is not allowed.

All positions must be closed before 4:59 PM ET every trading day. Overnight and weekend holding is not permitted. Trading reopens at 6:00 PM ET.

Hedging is not permitted: no simultaneous long and short positions on the same or correlated instruments, including across accounts.

Copying trades from other traders is not permitted.

Automated trading, algorithms and HFT are not permitted. Manual trading only.

Every trade needs risk management; using the drawdown threshold as a stop loss is not allowed.

Type: EOD Trailing. The threshold is calculated once a day from the closing balance (4:59 PM ET) and enforced in real time during the next session.

On Rithmic and WealthCharts the drawdown stops trailing once it reaches the balance with the profit target (e.g. $53,000 for 50K); on Tradovate it keeps trailing.

Hitting the limit closes your positions and pauses trading until the next session. The evaluation is not failed.

Maximum Contracts

$25K Account: 4 minis / 40 micros

$100K Account: 8 minis / 80 micros

$150K Account: 12 minis / 120 micros

Fixed for the whole evaluation, no scaling. 10 micros = 1 mini; orders above the limit are rejected without a breach.

Additional Rules

Consistency Rule: None.

Minimum Trading Days: None, you can pass in 1 day.

Time Limit: 30 calendar days from purchase, no extensions.

Fees: one-time payment, no subscription. No resets — after a failed evaluation you buy a new one.

Funded account activation fee, due within 7 days of passing: one-time, the current amount is shown next to the account in the table (Apex changes it during promotions); "No Activation Fee" accounts pay nothing.

This company is nothing but a scam

This company is nothing but a scam. They place orders on their own so you lose your account. Happened to multiple people. A friend of mine didn't have any orders, and hours later he heard order filled. Blew his funded account and he didn't even put an order in. It's happening to many people. They do not want profitable traders. Stay away from Apex.

I been with apex for almost a year .. yea I made bad trades but also follows the rules .. More than once tradovate under apex has made a trade without my authorized permission so I say keep your money and not trust them … I give 1 star to the downside .. crooks and not worth the hassle

This app or whatever is so complicated they have ninja trader and this rmmac word app and this other one DOES NOT WORK ON MAC BOOK or any appple devises because my log in doesn’t work and is not supported I have to use trade I ate so am now thinking ok finnaly they have smth thats apple supported turns out it’s got kinging do with that my whole log in the gave m does not work at alll its fake username fake password i have tied all day for the last 8 hours and looking at these reviews they reply faster to these trust pillar reviews than their help desk they mad sir so hard to dash the hell desks still no reply it also has like 2 differnt log in credentials one is and expample but it actually genuinely says it’s ur log in but if u go to trash shed that’s ur actual log in my mate says that he was trading on trading view each trade he place did jot register so he was placing trades without no confirmation only to get an email saying ur account is blown the rules are ridiculous stupid apparently before the markets shut u have to sit close ur trade regardless no matter what u have to code it and hold and firm that loss so it ts like they really are pushing U to Lose I think they gave me a fake credentials and account because I had the discount for 30 very awfull no help at all I have never been so angry on y life I want my refund.. I’d happily go bck to gfn and pay the full price… and they got other like so many views explains how to set ur account to red the guy the video talks absolute bum like wtf is this guy waffling about just give me my account brev …

Stay away if you are a profitable trader

So I am one of the traders who have been through hell with this company. At some point I believed they were having trouble because lots of scammers are taking advantage of their rules. I trusted them, traded and followed all additional steps to get the payout only to be banned for two years for NO REASON. I was asked to trade additional days and record myself trading - done all in profit. Waited a month only to hear that video format was incorrect and I need to do it all over again - done all in profit. I did it again, recording and explaining each and every trade I took. Again I waited a month for a response and finally got my payout of $26,000. At that point they had no way to deny me a payout as I had all the proof. Then I got all excited and hoped they are a good company and I would continue to get pay outs......I was never more wrong in my life. After leaving a positive review and skipping all the details I went through I received an email that I am on probation LOL Really? What for? I ran my accounts to $57,000 each and was ready to get some payouts. The reason they put me on probation, was that they wanted to move me to a live account. However, there was one small little detail. I need to continue trading for a month and I am not eligible for any payouts hahahah Jokers! Long story short - I did end up drowning those accounts and was banned from getting new ATF Accounts for two years. Conclusion: If you are a profitable trader and you really know what you are doing. They will ban you! But before that they will do anything possible and impossible for you to make a mistake and be ineligible for a payout. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMMPANY
