"Unfair Treatment and Lack of Trustworthiness in Apex Trading"
I used to trade with Apex, where I had a 50k account. I earned $3,200, which was above the safety net ($2,600), so I requested a withdrawal. However, my request was denied, with the explanation that I didn’t follow the risk management rules, and I was told to continue trading for another 8 days. After two more days of trading, I reached $3,800. Then I received an email asking me to verify my identity, so I sent a photo of my face and my ID. The next day, I received another email stating that suspicious activity had been detected on my account. They demanded that I record two videos (each lasting 5–10 minutes) showing my face, hands, the current time, and how I executed trades. I also had to demonstrate that I was using R|Trader and that I was indeed trading on my account. They threatened to close my account if I didn’t send these videos. Meanwhile, during trading on my PA account, I regularly asked if everything was fine since the rules had changed. I was assured that there were no issues. However, after receiving the verification emails, communication with the company became limited, and my requests for information were ignored or dismissed. I complied with their demands. In the videos, I showed my face, hands, the current time, and the R|Trader interface. I also sent a detailed description of my trades: where I entered, where I exited, and what I was paying attention to (I always use a translator since I don’t speak English well). Despite this, after sending the recordings, they demanded even more videos, still claiming that I wasn’t the person I claimed to be. This company treated me like a fraudster, coming up with excuses not to pay me a small amount of $850. I’ve invested a lot of money with this company because trading is a process. But when I finally became consistent, I was treated in such an unfair way. Let this be a warning to others who have an extended trading process and suddenly face accusations like this because the company decides you’re a fraud. The funniest thing is that 1.5 years earlier, I was paid $2k without any issues. This company is no longer trustworthy.
