Taking 5 days to respond to my support…
Taking 5 days to respond to my support is highly unprofessional. Smaller more responsive prop firms are taking market share from Apex because of poor customer service.
A futures-focused prop firm with a 100% profit split and account sizes from $25,000 to $150,000, with combined funding up to $6,000,000. Since March 2026, Apex moved to a one-time payment model with a lifetime activation fee paid only after passing. Both EOD and intraday trailing drawdown options are available across platforms including NinjaTrader, Tradovate, Rithmic, and WealthCharts.

Why would I give anything other than a 1 sstar? Worst rules in the game. Got shut out for making too much because I wasn’t an affiliate. Then you forced me to show and explain my trades. Only thing you had was 20 accts. Otherwise payout process was a joke and rules were trash

Apex is the first prop company I used and attempted to ultimately achieve the goal of earning myself a funded account. I looked into a couple other "well known"pro firms but what baited me to using Apex were the huge 70%, 80%,and 90% off discounts from their evaluation accounts. Which, to most beginning traders who are itching to make money, will look extremely attractive. The low evaluation fee along with their short and easy sign up procedure is how Apex got me. Unfortunately, after 6 failed evaluation attempts and getting funded on only 2 other accounts(only to blow them within 3 days), I learned that those first 2 steps to sign up and paying for a discounted evaluation accounts were the only things that was easy, simple, and straight forward when dealing with them. I know they are a business and businesses need to make profit as well but ever rule they have and how they implement their rules are never straight forward and given in a clear and understandable way. A person who is new and just signing up would have to read thru their entire website just to get a vague understanding of what the rules are to pass the evaluation and then figure out another vague set of rules in order to get paid if you're lucky enough to get to a funded account. If you are thinking about signing up with Apex, I strongly suggest you read thru their entire site bc there is no one page or section where they clearly state or list the official rules for passing evaluations, rules once you get a funded acct, and also rules to get approved for a pay out. Even the instructional videos to help you understand the rules don't clearly state the rules. My experience was very frustrating and ultimately discouraging with Apex. In summary, the following were the biggest cons I learned try to get funded by Apex... 1. They bait you with highly discounted evaluation 2. IF you pass the evaluation then you pay another higher fee b4 you can trade the funded account that you already worked hard to earn 3. Their rules are never clearly listed or stated 4. They have way too many rules 5. Their entire process is clearly done in a way to maximize failure but at the same time they state that their rules are to help traders become "consistent" and "profitable" The last rule is true. I eventually became a consistently profitable trader only to Apex from all the eval fees and funded account fees I paid to them. My experience was in the span of 3 months and getting zero payouts. In the same amount of time, after doing better research on 3 other prop firms, I am currently working on getting my 3rd payout from one firm and a 2nd payout from another. Please, do your own due diligence and research each firm b4 you make your decision. I learned the hard way that Apex was not a good match for me too work with but thru that experience I was able to move on and find two others that were a better fit for me.

They had a promo for 90% off on the 250K accounts to celebrate their milestone. I tried to purchase some accounts - their system was rejecting the credit card - this was the same card that was used for other accounts purchased previously from them so it wasnt the card. I called credit card company - it was definitely an issue on apex side. Fraud detection said their system wasn't sending the right information so they couldn't push it through. Problem was - I was on a deadline as this special would end in a couple of hours. Well the deadline past- I worked with the credit card company for a couple of hours on this issue and put in a trouble ticket with Apex support during that time before the deadline. The following day I received an email from support confirming it was an issue in their system but they wouldn't honor the discount, they said sorry but now now they had 71% off instead. Talk about a bait and switch. I told them no thank you - that is just poor business practice. If your trying to screw me right at the start - you will definitely try to screw me out of the pay outs later. You definitely showed your stripes - way to celebrate your milestone. Buyers be warned

I have not even traded with them since for months now and suddenly I got email that they blocked me for absolutely no reason?!?! They demand that I have to send a proof of trading?!?! When I did not even TRADED with them for months ????? What is this a joke of a propfirm. Stay away it’s scammer propfirm.
