A futures-focused prop firm. Since 1 March 2026 Apex has run on a new product line: end-of-day drawdown, built-in scaling, a 50% consistency requirement and no payout denials. Trading Rules

News trading is permitted as part of a normal strategy. Chasing news spikes or placing orders on both sides of the market around a release is not allowed.

All positions must be closed before 4:59 PM ET every trading day. Overnight and weekend holding is not permitted. Trading reopens at 6:00 PM ET.

Hedging is not permitted: no simultaneous long and short positions on the same or correlated instruments, including across accounts.

Copying trades from other traders is not permitted.

Automated trading, algorithms and HFT are not permitted. Manual trading only.

Every trade needs risk management; using the drawdown threshold as a stop loss is not allowed.

Type: EOD Trailing. The threshold is calculated once a day from the closing balance (4:59 PM ET) and enforced in real time during the next session.

On Rithmic and WealthCharts the drawdown stops trailing once it reaches the balance with the profit target (e.g. $53,000 for 50K); on Tradovate it keeps trailing.

$100K Account: $1,500

$150K Account: $2,000

Hitting the limit closes your positions and pauses trading until the next session. The evaluation is not failed.

Maximum Contracts

$25K Account: 4 minis / 40 micros

$50K Account: 6 minis / 60 micros

$100K Account: 8 minis / 80 micros

$150K Account: 12 minis / 120 micros

Fixed for the whole evaluation, no scaling. 10 micros = 1 mini; orders above the limit are rejected without a breach.

Additional Rules

Consistency Rule: None.

Minimum Trading Days: None, you can pass in 1 day.

Time Limit: 30 calendar days from purchase, no extensions.

Fees: one-time payment, no subscription. No resets — after a failed evaluation you buy a new one.

Funded account activation fee, due within 7 days of passing: one-time, the current amount is shown next to the account in the table (Apex changes it during promotions); "No Activation Fee" accounts pay nothing.

Apex Abandoned Traders During Outage — Avoid This Firm

Apex Trader Funding has shown a complete lack of accountability. During the recent Cloudflare/Tradovate outage, I was unable to close or manage my position because the platform was down — a situation entirely out of my control. Yet Apex refuses to reset accounts or provide any fair resolution, leaving traders to absorb losses caused by a third-party failure. Every other firm I’ve dealt with in this industry handled this issue responsibly. Apex’s decision is disappointing and shows how little they value their traders. I won’t be using or recommending them again.

I gave them 5 stars before but their compliance policy to submit trades everyday doesn’t make any sense. Even if you stay compliant, on what basis do you know if they are going to accept or decline your trading strategy?

Unacceptable Delay in Payout

The payout process takes too long. It’s very frustrating to wait this long for funds to be released. I hope Apex can improve its processing time and provide clearer updates or timelines. Speed and transparency are important, especially when it comes to handling money. Feels like apex have no more funds to pay their traders

i have never win monney on it ... they ask photo they ask a lot of different video for trade sorry but i can understand if i have win monney but trading and have the impression to have a boss under my back is not for me
