Trading Rules

News trading is permitted as part of a normal strategy. Chasing news spikes or placing orders on both sides of the market around a release is not allowed.

All positions must be closed before 4:59 PM ET every trading day. Overnight and weekend holding is not permitted. Trading reopens at 6:00 PM ET.

Hedging is not permitted: no simultaneous long and short positions on the same or correlated instruments, including across accounts.

Copying trades from other traders is not permitted.

Automated trading, algorithms and HFT are not permitted. Manual trading only.

Every trade needs risk management; using the drawdown threshold as a stop loss is not allowed.

Type: EOD Trailing. The threshold is calculated once a day from the closing balance (4:59 PM ET) and enforced in real time during the next session.

On Rithmic and WealthCharts the drawdown stops trailing once it reaches the balance with the profit target (e.g. $53,000 for 50K); on Tradovate it keeps trailing.

Hitting the limit closes your positions and pauses trading until the next session. The evaluation is not failed.

Maximum Contracts

$25K Account: 4 minis / 40 micros

$50K Account: 6 minis / 60 micros

$100K Account: 8 minis / 80 micros

$150K Account: 12 minis / 120 micros

Fixed for the whole evaluation, no scaling. 10 micros = 1 mini; orders above the limit are rejected without a breach.

Additional Rules

Consistency Rule: None.

Minimum Trading Days: None, you can pass in 1 day.

Time Limit: 30 calendar days from purchase, no extensions.

Fees: one-time payment, no subscription. No resets — after a failed evaluation you buy a new one.

Funded account activation fee, due within 7 days of passing: one-time, the current amount is shown next to the account in the table (Apex changes it during promotions); "No Activation Fee" accounts pay nothing.

Worst payout compliance rules in the…

Worst payout compliance rules in the whole industry. Shop around for other prop firms with better rules than this prop firm. Payout rules are super hard to follow and payout rejected if any soft breach happened Doesn’t matter how many days you trade one breach will denied your whole payout.

apex trader funding takes money without you knowing, yesterday i got charged for my monthly billing even tho it was on September 16 and now it is 19th August yet they still took the monthly payment. i asked for a refund because they took my money without a reason and blamed at the monthly billing and tried to ignore the refund. When i went on and showed them proof from my bank and apex dashboard that my billing was in 16th SEPTEMBER and not 19th AUGUST they went real quiet and yet they’re denying/ignoring my refund. It is Apex Trader Fundings (MISTAKE ) not mine, i read every of their policies and refund. i haven’t received the refund :( i would not recommend it.

SCAMMERS

SCAMMERS - They have been placing EXTERNAL ORDERS on evaluation accounts and blowing them out just so you RESET it again. I have FOUND those EXTERNAL order under " ORDERS and EXECUTIONS " HIDDEN within different days and time on Ninja Trader as well as found a SECOND account linked to my RITHMIC account - Once questioned they have WIPED OUT ALL HISTORY from their wrongdoing on my Ninja Trader Account. I have collected screenshots of it all and wish I could share it here!!! DO NOT FALL FOR THEM

Predatory Scam Website

Keeping it general and simple. You are reading this and can choose to believe this for yourself. I have been with Apex Trader Funding for 2 months before my account was wrongfully terminated. I equipped myself with all the knowledge on their TOS pages in order to abide to every single rule possible as I know prop firms are fishy. In simple, right upon requesting a payout across multiple accounts that I have proven to be profitable as a trader (I have been scalping and swing trading for over 3 years now), they decided to remove me as I became a liability to them. They happily took my money and when it was time to payout, they asked me to verify KYC in which I did - everything matched and then they banned me permanently from their services. I received a compliance disclaimer email stating I was no longer able to use their service, and then mass emails of my accounts being terminated and within minutes, another email saying my KYC was up for review. They terminated my account before reviewing my KYC and then chopping it down to discrepancies in my KYC verification. In short they were planning on removing me from the beginning to avoid payouts. Proceed at your own risk but I would personally advise to avoid this predatory firm altogether.

Ac suddenly disappeared from trading no reply emails

no email reply for me my ac was in still profit after 2 months time subscription paid and only one week remaining . Sent email this morning no reply and raised ticket for esolving ut no reply so far and lost a trading day when subscrition date approcahes i may have to pay again or amount will be deducted automatically pls stop until resolving my account log in and trading resume to normal and give me componsation additional days for trading to complete target
