Trading Rules

News trading is permitted as part of a normal strategy. Chasing news spikes or placing orders on both sides of the market around a release is not allowed.

All positions must be closed before 4:59 PM ET every trading day. Overnight and weekend holding is not permitted. Trading reopens at 6:00 PM ET.

Hedging is not permitted: no simultaneous long and short positions on the same or correlated instruments, including across accounts.

Copying trades from other traders is not permitted.

Automated trading, algorithms and HFT are not permitted. Manual trading only.

Every trade needs risk management; using the drawdown threshold as a stop loss is not allowed.

Type: EOD Trailing. The threshold is calculated once a day from the closing balance (4:59 PM ET) and enforced in real time during the next session.

On Rithmic and WealthCharts the drawdown stops trailing once it reaches the balance with the profit target (e.g. $53,000 for 50K); on Tradovate it keeps trailing.

$100K Account: $1,500

$150K Account: $2,000

Hitting the limit closes your positions and pauses trading until the next session. The evaluation is not failed.

Maximum Contracts

$25K Account: 4 minis / 40 micros

$50K Account: 6 minis / 60 micros

$100K Account: 8 minis / 80 micros

$150K Account: 12 minis / 120 micros

Fixed for the whole evaluation, no scaling. 10 micros = 1 mini; orders above the limit are rejected without a breach.

Additional Rules

Consistency Rule: None.

Minimum Trading Days: None, you can pass in 1 day.

Time Limit: 30 calendar days from purchase, no extensions.

Fees: one-time payment, no subscription. No resets — after a failed evaluation you buy a new one.

Funded account activation fee, due within 7 days of passing: one-time, the current amount is shown next to the account in the table (Apex changes it during promotions); "No Activation Fee" accounts pay nothing.

Horribly run business with awful…

Horribly run business with awful customer service. They will ban you without giving a reason, find any reason to deny a payout, place your account under review (not able to purchase more accts), and will not respond to any form of communication for months. Would recommend literally any other futures prop firm over Apex. ******Make sure to check which reviews on here are REAL and unprompted. Apex pays people to write good reviews bc their business is so shady.

Apex will do ANYTHING to restrict your payouts!

Apex DO NOT want you to succeed! Several months ago, they put my account under "review" to become a live trader with them. Now, in case some of you don't have the iq to wiggle out their tactic or are just not familiar with Apex's history, they do this so that you cannot capitalise on their cheap evaluation/funded accounts. So, what I mean is that I now have 3 funded accounts, and i'm making steady/consisted payouts. Once you are put under this mythical stage of evaluation, it's almost like a blacklist. You can no longer buy any more evaluation accounts from apex. This is their way of trapping you. If i were to blow one of my fundeds, i'm out and can't take their money since i can't buy another account. On the contrary, if you do keep being successful, you can't capitalise on the very thing they advertise, to trade with more capital than you can probably afford. This has been going on for months, some of my trading friends are in the exact same position. Apex haven't reached out publicly or privately to either of us about this lie, and we do hope that they get in touch ASAP. In conclusion, APEX will do anything and everything to stop you reaching the ceiling of your potential. PLEASE avoid, for your own good.

Worst funding experience ever

Worst funding experience ever, LAKEYSIA from their support waited for me to pay the activation fee so that after she could reply that they canceled my PA account and couldn't say why? how is that acceptable how can i pay my money for you to go and cancel it with No reason if there was an option of 0 stars this company would be deserving of it
