Quick Verdict
Tradeify vs Lucid Trading is a close call on paper. Both 50K accounts ask for $3,000 with a $2,000 end-of-day drawdown, 4 minis and no activation fee. The real difference is how you get paid: Tradeify Select lets you choose daily payouts, while LucidFlex pays less often and needs 5 profitable days in each payout cycle.
Pricing & Total Cost (50K)
Neither firm charges an activation fee on these plans, so the evaluation price is the whole cost. Tradeify Select 50K: $116. LucidFlex 50K: $54.35. Current codes: BETZ, BETZ.
Drawdown & Consistency Rules
The drawdown works the same way at both: end-of-day trailing, locking at $100 above the starting balance or as soon as you request a payout.
The consistency rule is where they split. Tradeify Select uses 40% in the evaluation, so you need at least 3 trading days, while LucidFlex uses 50% with a small cushion and lets you pass in 2. Once funded, neither has a consistency rule.
Payout Speed & Path to Live
Select Daily lets you request every day, capped at $1,250 per payout on 50K accounts bought after September 1, 2026. Select Flex pays every 5 winning days of $150 or more, up to $2,500. Both split 90/10, and after 3 payouts on one account you can be considered for a live account.
LucidFlex has one path: 5 days with at least $150 profit, then you can request any day. You get up to 50% of your profit, capped at $2,000, with the money sent "within 2 business days". The split is also 90/10, and after 5 payouts the account can move live.
Bots, Platforms & Restrictions
In our view, Lucid is the looser of the two. Its FAQ says automated strategies and trade copiers are permitted, and news trading is allowed. Tradeify allows personal bots too, but not high-frequency ones, and you can't run the same bot at another firm. On funded accounts, Tradeify also wants over 50% of your trades and profit to come from trades held longer than 10 seconds.
Both offer Tradovate and NinjaTrader, plus Rithmic-based platforms such as Sierra Chart and Quantower. Tradeify adds TradingView and WealthCharts, while Lucid lists more Rithmic tools such as ATAS and Bookmap.
Who Should Pick Which
Pick Tradeify Select if:
- you want to withdraw small amounts often;
- you use TradingView or WealthCharts;
- you'd like a shot at live sooner (3 payouts, not 5).
Pick LucidFlex if:
- you tend to make a big part of your target in one or two days;
- you run an automated strategy or a trade copier;
- you don't need daily withdrawals and don't mind waiting for 5 qualifying days per cycle.
Each has a weak spot. Tradeify's daily payouts are capped at $1,250, and its microscalping rule can block a payout. LucidFlex only lets you take 50% of your profit per request, up to $2,000.
From my experience: I've had both, and I'd pick Lucid. The LucidFlex evaluation only has a 50% consistency rule, while Tradeify Select asks for 40%. Tradeify does give you a higher payout cap in return – $2,500 on Select Flex against Lucid's $2,000 – but in my personal view, Lucid is simply the best firm out there right now.
