Rules checked: October 6, 2026
A prop firm with no consistency rule from the first trade to the payout is rare. Among the firms we checked, that's My Funded Futures Pro (One Day Pass) on the futures side, and FTMO 2-Step and FundingPips 2-Step Standard (on weekly or bi-weekly payouts) on the forex side. Plenty of others drop the rule in one phase only, so read the fine print before you buy.
Why Traders Avoid Consistency Rules
A consistency rule limits how much of your profit can come from one day. Make $1,800 of a $3,000 target in one session at a firm with a 50% rule, and you can't pass or get paid until the rest of your profit catches up.
For a scalper who grinds small days, that rarely matters. For a trader who sits through quiet weeks and makes the month on one big trend day, it matters a lot. The rule can turn a passed evaluation into a longer one, or hold a payout for another week.
That's why so many traders search for a "prop firm with no consistency rule". The catch is that the phrase means different things on different sites.
Some firms have no rule in the evaluation but add one to every payout. Others drop it once you're funded. In this list we separate the two.
If you want the math behind the rule first, our guide to the prop firm consistency rule walks through it with worked examples.
Futures Prop Firms With No Consistency Rule
Here's how the main futures firms handle it, plan by plan, as of October 2026. "None" means the firm's own help center says there's no consistency rule in that phase.
| Firm and plan | Evaluation | Funded account | Drawdown (50K) |
|---|---|---|---|
| My Funded Futures Pro (One Day Pass) | None | None | $2,000 end-of-day |
| My Funded Futures Pro | 50% | None | $2,000 end-of-day |
| My Funded Futures Rapid | 30% (EOD) or 50% (intraday) | None | $2,000 |
| Lucid Trading LucidFlex | 50% | None | $2,000 end-of-day |
| Lucid Trading LucidDaily | 50% | None | $2,000, EOD or intraday in the evaluation, intraday once funded |
| Tradeify Select | 40% | None | $2,000 end-of-day |
| Apex (new accounts) | None | 50% at payout | $2,000 EOD or intraday |
| Tradeify Growth | None | 35% at payout | $2,000 end-of-day |
| My Funded Futures Builder | None | 50% at payout | $2,000 end-of-day |
| Topstep | 55% | 40% on the Consistency payout path | $2,000 end-of-day |
My Funded Futures Pro (One Day Pass)
This is the only futures plan we found with no consistency rule in either phase. The regular Pro evaluation has a 50% rule, but the One Day Pass version has none, and the Pro sim funded account lists "Consistency: None". There's also no daily loss limit in the evaluation or on the funded account.
You pay for that in the payout rules. You keep 80% of profits, not 90% or 100%. You also need 14 calendar days from your first trade and a $2,100 buffer on a 50K account before you can request, and the minimum request is $1,000.
My Funded Futures Rapid
Rapid has a rule in the evaluation – 30% on the EOD version, 50% on the intraday one – but none once you're funded. MFFU's own wording for the funded stage: "you don't need to meet a consistency rule to get paid". Payouts are daily, with a 90/10 split and a $500 minimum, once you have $2,100 of realized profit on a 50K account.
LucidFlex and LucidDaily
Both Lucid plans use a 50% rule in the evaluation, with a small cushion that lets you pass in two days. Lucid says the cushion is not a fixed dollar amount, and LucidFlex funded accounts have no consistency rule at all. LucidFlex uses a $2,000 end-of-day drawdown on 50K that locks at $50,100.
Tradeify Select
Select uses a 40% rule in the evaluation, and Tradeify says it takes at least 3 trading days to pass. Once you're funded, "there is no consistency rule for Select accounts in funded mode". All Tradeify accounts use an end-of-day trailing drawdown.
From my experience: I've traded My Funded Futures Rapid EOD, LucidFlex and Tradeify Select. Once funded, having no consistency rule didn't really change how I work the chart or how I take profits. What it does give me is the chance to build a buffer faster when a well-timed setup comes along during the week. An account without a consistency rule simply gives you more freedom in how you manage it.
Forex/CFD Prop Firms With No Consistency Rule
In forex, two of the biggest firms have plans with no rule at all, if you pick the right version.
| Firm and plan | Evaluation | Funded account | Max loss |
|---|---|---|---|
| FTMO 2-Step | None | None | 10%, static |
| FTMO 1-Step | 50% Best Day Rule | 50% Best Day Rule | 10%, end-of-day trailing |
| FundingPips 2-Step Standard | None | None on weekly and bi-weekly payouts; 35% on monthly and on-demand | 10%, static |
| FundingPips 1-Step Flex | None listed | None on bi-weekly payouts; 35% on monthly | 12% |
| FundingPips Zero | No evaluation | 15% | 5%, trailing |
| The5ers | Not confirmed | Not confirmed | – |
FTMO 2-Step
FTMO's answer to "Do you have any consistency rules?" is short: as long as your risk management is sustainable, there are "no additional consistency requirements". The 2-Step Challenge asks for 10% in phase one and 5% in the Verification, with at least 4 trading days. The Best Day Rule only exists on the 1-Step.
What you get instead is less room for losses. There's a 5% daily loss limit and a 10% maximum loss, both measured on equity, so a floating loss counts. FTMO doesn't work with MyPropFirm, but in our view it's the most straightforward no-consistency option in forex.
FundingPips 2-Step Standard
FundingPips has no consistency score in either evaluation phase. On the funded (Master) account it depends on how you get paid. The FAQ says plainly that "Weekly and Bi-Weekly reward cycles are not subject to the 35% rule", while monthly and on-demand payouts are.
So you choose: weekly payouts at a 60% split or bi-weekly at 80%, with no consistency rule, or monthly at 100% with the 35% rule and at least 7 profitable days. Like FTMO, FundingPips isn't a MyPropFirm partner.
Firms Where the Rule Applies Only at Payout (the Fine Print)
Several firms advertise that you can pass in one day, and that's true. The rule just shows up later, on the funded account.
Apex is a good example. Its new EOD and intraday evaluations have no consistency rule, but on the Performance Account no single profitable day can be 50% or more of your profit since the last payout. Tradeify Growth works the same way with a 35% rule on the funded account. My Funded Futures Builder says "your single largest profit day cannot represent more than 50% of your total profits in the cycle".
On the forex side, FundingPips puts its 35% rule on monthly and on-demand payouts only, and FTMO 1-Step applies the Best Day Rule to both the Challenge and the funded account.
None of this is hidden. It's just easy to miss, because the evaluation page is the one people read first. Before you buy, ask one thing: does the rule apply when I request a payout? If the answer is yes, the firm isn't a no-consistency firm, however fast the evaluation is.
From my experience: I've bought an account like this myself: an EOD account at Apex with no consistency rule in the evaluation. It didn't change my approach much. When a trade looked like it could push one day over 50% of my profit, I simply closed it earlier.
Trade-offs: What These Firms Use Instead
On the three plans with no rule at all, something else is tighter:
| Plan | What replaces the consistency rule |
|---|---|
| My Funded Futures Pro (One Day Pass) | 80% profit split, 14 calendar days before the first payout, $2,100 buffer on 50K, $1,000 minimum request |
| FTMO 2-Step | 5% daily loss limit, 10% static max loss on equity, at least 4 trading days |
| FundingPips 2-Step Standard (weekly or bi-weekly) | Lower split: 60% weekly or 80% bi-weekly, versus 100% monthly with the rule |
In our view, the trade is usually worth it for traders whose profits come in bursts. But check the cost side too. On MFFU Pro you give up 20% of every payout, and on FundingPips you give up 20–40% compared with the monthly cycle. Over a year, that can cost more than the extra days a consistency rule would have taken.
Prices for these plans: $132.50, $605.12, price on the firm's site.
How We Verified This List
Every rule here comes from the firm's own help center, checked on October 6, 2026. We didn't use review sites or forum posts.
Where a firm's pages don't say clearly whether a rule applies, we left it out of the "no rule" column instead of guessing. That's why The5ers isn't in the "no rule" column yet: its program pages we checked don't mention a consistency rule either way.
We also counted a plan as "no consistency rule" only if the rule is missing in both the evaluation and on funded payouts. A one-day pass alone isn't enough. Firms change these rules often – Tradeify, Apex and FundingPips all changed theirs in 2026 – so we'll update this page when they do.
Verdict
In our view, FTMO 2-Step is the cleanest no-consistency option for forex traders, and My Funded Futures Pro (One Day Pass) is the only futures plan we found with no rule in either phase. If you can live with a rule in the evaluation, MFFU Rapid, LucidFlex and Tradeify Select free you from it once you're funded.
There are downsides. MFFU Pro pays 80% instead of 90–100%, FTMO's 5% daily loss limit is tight on equity, and FundingPips makes you pick between no rule and the full split. And plans like Apex or Tradeify Growth that only skip the rule in the evaluation aren't no-consistency plans, even though you can pass them in one day.
FAQ
Does FTMO have a consistency rule?
Only on the 1-Step. There, the Best Day Rule says your best day can't be more than 50% of your profitable days' total, in the Challenge and on the funded account. The 2-Step has no consistency rule at all.
Does The5ers have a consistency rule?
The5ers' help pages we checked for High Stakes and Bootcamp don't list a consistency rule. They don't rule one out either, so confirm with The5ers support before you buy.
Does Apex have a consistency rule on evaluations?
No. New Apex EOD and intraday evaluations have no consistency rule, and you can pass in one day. The 50% rule starts on the Performance Account, when you request a payout.
Are no-consistency-rule firms more expensive?
Not always at checkout, but they usually cost you somewhere else. My Funded Futures Pro pays 80% of profits, and FundingPips pays 60–80% on the payout cycles without the rule. Compare the split and the payout wait, not just the evaluation price.
Can a firm add a consistency rule later?
Yes. Firms update their rules regularly, and changes like Apex's March 2026 overhaul or FundingPips' new monthly cycle in August 2026 changed how consistency works. Existing accounts are sometimes kept on the old rules, as Apex did with legacy accounts, so check the help center before every new purchase.
