Worst support ever.
Worst support ever.
A futures-focused prop firm with a 100% profit split and account sizes from $25,000 to $150,000, with combined funding up to $6,000,000. Since March 2026, Apex moved to a one-time payment model with a lifetime activation fee paid only after passing. Both EOD and intraday trailing drawdown options are available across platforms including NinjaTrader, Tradovate, Rithmic, and WealthCharts.

They closed my affiliate account because I'm making too much money from them. Not recommended

I invested heavily into Apex Trader Funding this year, purchasing multiple evaluations and funded accounts. I traded cleanly, stayed within all posted rules, and qualified for multiple payouts. Apex successfully processed five $2,000 payouts for me. But when I earned my 6th payout, worth over $55,000, everything changed... 1. Apex denied my $55,000 payout and froze my accounts After months of clean trading and multiple approved payouts, Apex suddenly froze my main account and refused to release the $55K payout with no legitimate or consistent explanation. 2. They accused me of violating “rules” that do not exist Apex claimed I violated: A “30% drawdown rule” (even though their own email only says “avoid 30%” and does not define it as a rule) “Multiple DCAs” (yet no rule anywhere specifies how many DCAs are allowed) These claims do not match Apex’s published rulebook. It felt like Apex invented new rules after the fact to deny a large payout. 3. They added new requirements only AFTER I earned the payout Apex suddenly required: A video strategy explanation A written strategy breakdown These requirements were never part of the rules I traded under and were not required for the first five payouts. They were added only when a large payout was on the table. 4. Apex placed me on a 90-day “probation” with no rules Apex put me on a supposed 90-day probation but refused to provide: Written terms Trading restrictions Criteria for passing Any actual rules The “probation” was impossible to comply with because they never defined it. 5. They froze my other accounts too During the denial of the $55K payout, Apex also froze additional accounts that had no violations, completely stopping me from trading or earning future payouts. 6. Payouts were extremely slow, likely by design Throughout the process, payouts were noticeably slow, taking far longer than other prop firms I’ve worked with. In my opinion, the delays seemed intentional, especially as payout amounts grew. 7. Influencers promote unrealistic 20-account strategies Apex heavily relies on influencers like Patrick Wieland who promote holding 10–20 accounts at once. This drives traders to pay for far more evaluations, resets, and fees, massively increasing Apex’s revenue. Yet when traders actually scale up and finally earn a large payout, Apex appears to find reasons not to pay. 8. Overall pattern feels deceptive and predatory Based on my experience, Apex’s behavior, slow payouts, mid-process rule changes, freezing accounts, adding new requirements, and denying a $55K payout on rules that don’t exist, feels like a predatory business model designed to collect fees, not pay traders. ⭐ Final Thoughts Apex had no problem paying me five small payouts. But once I earned a large $55,000 payout, everything changed: Accounts frozen New rules created Strategy requirements added Undefined “probation” imposed Payout denied Other accounts blocked Slow processing every step of the way Slow or unresponsive customer service What I experienced this year shows a consistent pattern of avoidance, delay, and shifting rules, and I cannot recommend Apex Trader Funding to any serious trader.

To many rules to get paid. You aren’t allowed to take risk.
