Trading Rules

News trading is permitted as part of a normal strategy. Chasing news spikes or placing orders on both sides of the market around a release is not allowed.

All positions must be closed before 4:59 PM ET every trading day. Overnight and weekend holding is not permitted. Trading reopens at 6:00 PM ET.

Hedging is not permitted: no simultaneous long and short positions on the same or correlated instruments, including across accounts.

Copying trades from other traders is not permitted.

Automated trading, algorithms and HFT are not permitted. Manual trading only.

Every trade needs risk management; using the drawdown threshold as a stop loss is not allowed.

Type: EOD Trailing. The threshold is calculated once a day from the closing balance (4:59 PM ET) and enforced in real time during the next session.

On Rithmic and WealthCharts the drawdown stops trailing once it reaches the balance with the profit target (e.g. $53,000 for 50K); on Tradovate it keeps trailing.

$150K Account: $2,000

Hitting the limit closes your positions and pauses trading until the next session. The evaluation is not failed.

Maximum Contracts

$25K Account: 4 minis / 40 micros

$50K Account: 6 minis / 60 micros

$100K Account: 8 minis / 80 micros

$150K Account: 12 minis / 120 micros

Fixed for the whole evaluation, no scaling. 10 micros = 1 mini; orders above the limit are rejected without a breach.

Additional Rules

Consistency Rule: None.

Minimum Trading Days: None, you can pass in 1 day.

Time Limit: 30 calendar days from purchase, no extensions.

Fees: one-time payment, no subscription. No resets — after a failed evaluation you buy a new one.

Funded account activation fee, due within 7 days of passing: one-time, the current amount is shown next to the account in the table (Apex changes it during promotions); "No Activation Fee" accounts pay nothing.

Passed the challenge - 2 days into the live account. Account blown. The draw down these idiots give you compared to any other prop firm is the biggest joke. Avoid apex at all costs, The only reason they lure people in is because of the cheap accounts & they give you a bees D draw down & how it works makes you blow your account that fast EVEN with proper risk management.

Total scams

Total scams. Not serious company I bought 100k evaluation with a discounted price. After i open my first trade on gold, the account liquidated and closed. my equity was 99.950$. I asked for customer support and told me that i have the option to buy another account. i never saw a prop firm company blow my account from one trade. This is massive steling. Apex_455955 ticket id: 1200230 They desing the site and the procedures for you to fail. Do not trade with them.

Apex is a fraud

Apex is a fraud. They want you to lose and that’s how they make money. They will start questioning your strategy the moment you stop losing. why you are taking these trades? What’s your strategy? Send us screenshots of your trades? Are your trades aligned with your strategy? Etc but only when you actually start to make money. I was losing and blowing accounts for a year and they never bothered me but the moment I started to stop losing and started making a little bit of money they started questioning my strategy. They had no issues or any questions regarding my strategy as long as I was losing money, resetting accounts and paying them. That all changed the moment I got qualified for my first payout of $500. It’s such a scam. Please stay away from this company and I wonder where are the regulators???
