Trading Rules

News trading is permitted as part of a normal strategy. Chasing news spikes or placing orders on both sides of the market around a release is not allowed.

All positions must be closed before 4:59 PM ET every trading day. Overnight and weekend holding is not permitted. Trading reopens at 6:00 PM ET.

Hedging is not permitted: no simultaneous long and short positions on the same or correlated instruments, including across accounts.

Copying trades from other traders is not permitted.

Automated trading, algorithms and HFT are not permitted. Manual trading only.

Every trade needs risk management; using the drawdown threshold as a stop loss is not allowed.

Type: EOD Trailing. The threshold is calculated once a day from the closing balance (4:59 PM ET) and enforced in real time during the next session.

On Rithmic and WealthCharts the drawdown stops trailing once it reaches the balance with the profit target (e.g. $53,000 for 50K); on Tradovate it keeps trailing.

$150K Account: $2,000

Hitting the limit closes your positions and pauses trading until the next session. The evaluation is not failed.

Maximum Contracts

$25K Account: 4 minis / 40 micros

$50K Account: 6 minis / 60 micros

$100K Account: 8 minis / 80 micros

$150K Account: 12 minis / 120 micros

Fixed for the whole evaluation, no scaling. 10 micros = 1 mini; orders above the limit are rejected without a breach.

Additional Rules

Consistency Rule: None.

Minimum Trading Days: None, you can pass in 1 day.

Time Limit: 30 calendar days from purchase, no extensions.

Fees: one-time payment, no subscription. No resets — after a failed evaluation you buy a new one.

Funded account activation fee, due within 7 days of passing: one-time, the current amount is shown next to the account in the table (Apex changes it during promotions); "No Activation Fee" accounts pay nothing.

If you want to lose money from policy this is the best prop firm where you want to be. They have a lot of rules plus no refund policy that allow them to withdraw money from you in some ways. I used this prop, but now I will leave. ByeBye

You make it very difficult to take any money out. It seems you’ll look for any excuse to deny requests. There’s also glitches within the system that have cost me my accounts. Response to APEX: yes, the most recent one was successful, but the one prior was denied. I did reach out to your support for another issue and was offered no help.

This company is a complete scam!

This company is a complete scam! After passing an evaluation and then purchasing another one they then asked for me to be verified, in which I sent my ID and all necessary documents and they denied my identity verification which made NOOO sense. This company will take your money and lock you out of your account permanently! STAY FAR AWAY FROM THESE SCAMMERS!!!!

I at my wits end with Apex trading

I at my wits end with Apex trading. I have had issues from day one and I keep going round in circles my account with tradovate and ninja trader have been awful, I have paid twice for add ons and my account with tradovat is still on demo mode when I have purchased an Evol challenge I can’t get any trades on now and no one seems to help me. They keep giving me rules to follow which makes no difference had enough I will close everything down this has really put me completely off
