A futures-focused prop firm. Since 1 March 2026 Apex has run on a new product line: end-of-day drawdown, built-in scaling, a 50% consistency requirement and no payout denials. Accounts are a one-time payment with a lifetime activation fee paid only after passing, and traders may hold several at once. Platforms include NinjaTrader, Tradovate, Rithmic and WealthCharts. Accounts bought before March 2026 run under the legacy rules.

Trading Rules

News trading is permitted as part of a normal strategy. Chasing news spikes or placing orders on both sides of the market around a release is not allowed.

All positions must be closed before 4:59 PM ET every trading day. Overnight and weekend holding is not permitted. Trading reopens at 6:00 PM ET.

Hedging is not permitted: no simultaneous long and short positions on the same or correlated instruments, including across accounts.

Copying trades from other traders is not permitted.

Automated trading, algorithms and HFT are not permitted. Manual trading only.

Every trade needs risk management; using the drawdown threshold as a stop loss is not allowed.

Type: EOD Trailing. The threshold is calculated once a day from the closing balance (4:59 PM ET) and enforced in real time during the next session.

On Rithmic and WealthCharts the drawdown stops trailing once it reaches the balance with the profit target (e.g. $53,000 for 50K); on Tradovate it keeps trailing.

$25K Account: $500

$50K Account: $1,000

$100K Account: $1,500

$150K Account: $2,000

Hitting the limit closes your positions and pauses trading until the next session. The evaluation is not failed.

Maximum Contracts

$25K Account: 4 minis / 40 micros

$50K Account: 6 minis / 60 micros

$100K Account: 8 minis / 80 micros

$150K Account: 12 minis / 120 micros

Fixed for the whole evaluation, no scaling. 10 micros = 1 mini; orders above the limit are rejected without a breach.

Additional Rules

Consistency Rule: None.

Minimum Trading Days: None, you can pass in 1 day.

Time Limit: 30 calendar days from purchase, no extensions.

Fees: one-time payment, no subscription. No resets — after a failed evaluation you buy a new one.

Funded account activation fee, due within 7 days of passing: one-time, the current amount is shown next to the account in the table (Apex changes it during promotions); "No Activation Fee" accounts pay nothing.

I consistently started taking payouts now they restricted me from buying new evaluation account. I try to raise my concern and create a ticket on support but they never replied. Very disappointed

100.000 acount I had an account that had 2000 in profit I have a risk setting on the account of 800 and today i woke up and they said I busted my account this is not the first time they do this to me yet I get no e-mail saying it gone or anything this company is no good a lot of trader told me but I didn't believe them noe I know why trader are starting to buy from other companys

ALWAYS changing the rules to ensure you do not get paid out

Please please please do not waste your money with this prop firm. Years ago they were pretty good. Every few months they change their pay out rules in order for you to obtain a payout. It has absolutely nothing to do with helping make you a better trader. TERRIBLE communication.

wouldn't advise anyone to use this firm they say they protecting traders be really they protecting their profits. i only trade one account t with apex for my safety but once this account is gone i dont think ill be using them again
