Apex Trader Funding

I requested a pay out and then the day next day I had placed a quick trade, I was quickly in profit of $200, so I tried to close a trade but NinjaTrader wouldn't let me close the trade, an error message kept appearing on the screen. Then , I tried to close the trade on tradeovate , and tradeovate said "order rejected". For 30 minutes, I tried to close the trade and I was not able to, then the price had reversed and blew my entire PA account. Then, I sent Apex a screenshot of the error message that appeared when I was trying to close the trade and their response was to contact Ninja Trader about the issue. So, contact Ninja Trader and they basically put the blame on Apex. So, no one helped me with my situation and currently my PA account is blown and my payment request is stuck "pending " status , and it's been a like that for a week.

I have been trading with Apex before they added new rules like the MAE and 1:5 R/R telling me that they implemented them for my good. Well in reality it is for them not to pay you. I am leaving Apex and I can foresee many of us will leave too. MAE literally forbid you with a 50k to not have a bigger drawdown of 750 dolalrs which now is the lowest of all the other prop firm companies. nonsense.

This prop firm is a complete scam everythign works amazing when is time to pay for challenges and activations but as soon as the payout has to come is all problems and denials, they denied me a payout without any rule break on top of that they don't answer they are cheap but it doens't matter when the chances of not getting payed are soo hight and soo many grey areas

Apex customer support sucks, they do not explain what has happened to my PA account with violation. They don't provide evidence. They just completely full customers. Do not try this trade firm. Apex used to be great last few years. But coming in to 2026, they have implemented some stupid rules that makes daily traders to fail.

This is a predatory, casino-style setup. Apex Trader Funding buries traders under suffocating rules so failure is the default outcome. The trailing drawdown is brutal and unforgiving, making normal trading impossible. Add daily limits and consistency rules and you’re not likely to find long-term success. They make money when accounts fail and get reset, yet pretend their goal is trader success. That’s insulting. Support is painfully slow, access issues drag on, and once you’re profitable, you suddenly hit reviews, delays, or new hoops.
