Trading Rules

News trading is permitted as part of a normal strategy. Chasing news spikes or placing orders on both sides of the market around a release is not allowed.

All positions must be closed before 4:59 PM ET every trading day. Overnight and weekend holding is not permitted. Trading reopens at 6:00 PM ET.

Hedging is not permitted: no simultaneous long and short positions on the same or correlated instruments, including across accounts.

Copying trades from other traders is not permitted.

Automated trading, algorithms and HFT are not permitted. Manual trading only.

Every trade needs risk management; using the drawdown threshold as a stop loss is not allowed.

Type: EOD Trailing. The threshold is calculated once a day from the closing balance (4:59 PM ET) and enforced in real time during the next session.

On Rithmic and WealthCharts the drawdown stops trailing once it reaches the balance with the profit target (e.g. $53,000 for 50K); on Tradovate it keeps trailing.

Daily Loss Limit

$25K Account: $500

$50K Account: $1,000

$100K Account: $1,500

$150K Account: $2,000

Hitting the limit closes your positions and pauses trading until the next session. The evaluation is not failed.

Maximum Contracts

$25K Account: 4 minis / 40 micros

$50K Account: 6 minis / 60 micros

$100K Account: 8 minis / 80 micros

$150K Account: 12 minis / 120 micros

Fixed for the whole evaluation, no scaling. 10 micros = 1 mini; orders above the limit are rejected without a breach.

Additional Rules

Consistency Rule: None.

Minimum Trading Days: None, you can pass in 1 day.

Time Limit: 30 calendar days from purchase, no extensions.

Fees: one-time payment, no subscription. No resets — after a failed evaluation you buy a new one.

Funded account activation fee, due within 7 days of passing: one-time, the current amount is shown next to the account in the table (Apex changes it during promotions); "No Activation Fee" accounts pay nothing.

I REALLY want to trust these reviews…

I REALLY want to trust these reviews that APEX Trader Funding is good, but I had nothing but the opposite. I have called and got nothing but a voice message. I have filled the form out 5 times now and left messages for them to call me and they have not. I am really fed up. Can someone reading this please post all phone numbers to a live agent, customer service that answers the phone. Also, has anyone had tech help remotely where they'll remote in and help?

Payment Delays and Zero Support Communication

I passed the 50k evaluation and paid to upgrade to a PA account. After reaching 8 days, I requested a $500 payout which got approved and they sent the payout certificate to my email. But since then it's been nothing but problems. I keep getting emails saying "Apex Trader Funding - PA Payment Delayed - Plane" with no explanation. I've submitted support tickets and got absolutely no reply. I've been waiting TWO WEEKS now! This is absolutely disgusting. I'm not happy whatsoever with how this company operates. They're quick to take your money for the evaluation and PA upgrade, but when it comes time to pay YOU out, suddenly there's delays, no communication, and they ignore your support requests. Be very aware before using this company. They approved my payout, sent me the certificate, but can't seem to actually send the money. No updates, no timeline, nothing. Just automated delay emails and silence. If you can't pay out traders in a reasonable timeframe and can't even respond to support tickets, you shouldn't be in business. Completely unprofessional. If i ever receive my payout i will update this review but as of now i have not received a penny.

Simply banning gold trading overnight

They simply banned gold trading overnight without any email or anything. I have premium accounts and now I can no longer trade gold. I'd call it a scam; they're doing everything they can to prevent you from withdrawing your money. So I won't be investing here anymore, and I already have a lot.

worst prop firm ever. they will do everything to keep you away from pay out record trades changing rules banning assets like they done with gold. yes challenges is cheap but this firm is absolute worst don't waste your time with these
