A futures-focused prop firm. Since 1 March 2026 Apex has run on a new product line: end-of-day drawdown, built-in scaling, a 50% consistency requirement and no payout denials. Accounts are a one-time payment with a lifetime activation fee paid only after passing, and traders may hold several at once. Platforms include NinjaTrader, Tradovate, Rithmic and WealthCharts. Accounts bought before March 2026 run under the legacy rules.

Trading Rules

News trading is permitted as part of a normal strategy. Chasing news spikes or placing orders on both sides of the market around a release is not allowed.

All positions must be closed before 4:59 PM ET every trading day. Overnight and weekend holding is not permitted. Trading reopens at 6:00 PM ET.

Hedging is not permitted: no simultaneous long and short positions on the same or correlated instruments, including across accounts.

Copying trades from other traders is not permitted.

Automated trading, algorithms and HFT are not permitted. Manual trading only.

Every trade needs risk management; using the drawdown threshold as a stop loss is not allowed.

Type: EOD Trailing. The threshold is calculated once a day from the closing balance (4:59 PM ET) and enforced in real time during the next session.

On Rithmic and WealthCharts the drawdown stops trailing once it reaches the balance with the profit target (e.g. $53,000 for 50K); on Tradovate it keeps trailing.

Daily Loss Limit

$25K Account: $500

$50K Account: $1,000

$100K Account: $1,500

$150K Account: $2,000

Hitting the limit closes your positions and pauses trading until the next session. The evaluation is not failed.

Maximum Contracts

$25K Account: 4 minis / 40 micros

$50K Account: 6 minis / 60 micros

$100K Account: 8 minis / 80 micros

$150K Account: 12 minis / 120 micros

Fixed for the whole evaluation, no scaling. 10 micros = 1 mini; orders above the limit are rejected without a breach.

Additional Rules

Consistency Rule: None.

Minimum Trading Days: None, you can pass in 1 day.

Time Limit: 30 calendar days from purchase, no extensions.

Fees: one-time payment, no subscription. No resets — after a failed evaluation you buy a new one.

Funded account activation fee, due within 7 days of passing: one-time, the current amount is shown next to the account in the table (Apex changes it during promotions); "No Activation Fee" accounts pay nothing.

I passed the evaluation and requested a payout, which was approved, but since then it's been nothing but delays and unclear emails. I've reached out for help multiple times with no response. They were quick to take my payment, but delivering what's owed has been ignored and frustrating. I stepped back early on to observe how #Goldbbloom #Laboratories operates. The regular access to my payments over time made it clear I was comfortable staying.

Done with this prop

Done with this prop, man I asked for them to just fix a Rithmic account that I cannot trade it wont connect even in Rtrader Pro it wont let me trade or refund my money so I can switch to a tradovate account or just switch me and they refused so I am offically done with apex I gave them so many opportunities might be done with the whole of prop firms TBH there all scams but Apex whoo they take the cake.

Wayyyyyyy too many rules and they change them all the time, I passed and they wouldn't give me my funded account cause I didn't use a stoploss.
