Trading Rules

News trading is permitted as part of a normal strategy. Chasing news spikes or placing orders on both sides of the market around a release is not allowed.

All positions must be closed before 4:59 PM ET every trading day. Overnight and weekend holding is not permitted. Trading reopens at 6:00 PM ET.

Hedging is not permitted: no simultaneous long and short positions on the same or correlated instruments, including across accounts.

Copying trades from other traders is not permitted.

Automated trading, algorithms and HFT are not permitted. Manual trading only.

Every trade needs risk management; using the drawdown threshold as a stop loss is not allowed.

Type: EOD Trailing. The threshold is calculated once a day from the closing balance (4:59 PM ET) and enforced in real time during the next session.

On Rithmic and WealthCharts the drawdown stops trailing once it reaches the balance with the profit target (e.g. $53,000 for 50K); on Tradovate it keeps trailing.

$150K Account: $2,000

Hitting the limit closes your positions and pauses trading until the next session. The evaluation is not failed.

Maximum Contracts

$25K Account: 4 minis / 40 micros

$50K Account: 6 minis / 60 micros

$100K Account: 8 minis / 80 micros

$150K Account: 12 minis / 120 micros

Fixed for the whole evaluation, no scaling. 10 micros = 1 mini; orders above the limit are rejected without a breach.

Additional Rules

Consistency Rule: None.

Minimum Trading Days: None, you can pass in 1 day.

Time Limit: 30 calendar days from purchase, no extensions.

Fees: one-time payment, no subscription. No resets — after a failed evaluation you buy a new one.

Funded account activation fee, due within 7 days of passing: one-time, the current amount is shown next to the account in the table (Apex changes it during promotions); "No Activation Fee" accounts pay nothing.

STAY AWAY! Use a competitor. FACT: Apex have got the cheapest evaluation challenge accounts in the industry. However there is a catch. Once a trader reaches the Performance challenge phase - APEX create so many obstacles designed to fragment a traders psychology. You have been warned ⚠️!

Poor customer service and ethics

Poor customer service and ethics. After signing up, I realised that I wasn't able to trade as they have restricted certain metals like Gold. When I asked for a refund on the account that I haven't even used yet, because they are preventing me from being able to trade the assets I trade. They flat out said no and had no concern for keeping me as a long standing customer. A ton of rules and poor customer service, not really caring about the customer's experience has turned me off them for good. There are plenty of better props out there with far better service.

Scam

Scam! They only pay to the influencers or if you have social media presence and followers. They closed my accounts saying rules violation once I request for payout. First they asked for video proof of my trades then they said prohibited activity and closed my account without further communication. Stay away from them.
