Trading Rules

News trading is permitted as part of a normal strategy. Chasing news spikes or placing orders on both sides of the market around a release is not allowed.

All positions must be closed before 4:59 PM ET every trading day. Overnight and weekend holding is not permitted. Trading reopens at 6:00 PM ET.

Hedging is not permitted: no simultaneous long and short positions on the same or correlated instruments, including across accounts.

Copying trades from other traders is not permitted.

Automated trading, algorithms and HFT are not permitted. Manual trading only.

Every trade needs risk management; using the drawdown threshold as a stop loss is not allowed.

Type: EOD Trailing. The threshold is calculated once a day from the closing balance (4:59 PM ET) and enforced in real time during the next session.

On Rithmic and WealthCharts the drawdown stops trailing once it reaches the balance with the profit target (e.g. $53,000 for 50K); on Tradovate it keeps trailing.

Daily Loss Limit

$25K Account: $500

$50K Account: $1,000

$100K Account: $1,500

$150K Account: $2,000

Hitting the limit closes your positions and pauses trading until the next session. The evaluation is not failed.

Maximum Contracts

$25K Account: 4 minis / 40 micros

$50K Account: 6 minis / 60 micros

$100K Account: 8 minis / 80 micros

$150K Account: 12 minis / 120 micros

Fixed for the whole evaluation, no scaling. 10 micros = 1 mini; orders above the limit are rejected without a breach.

Additional Rules

Consistency Rule: None.

Minimum Trading Days: None, you can pass in 1 day.

Time Limit: 30 calendar days from purchase, no extensions.

Fees: one-time payment, no subscription. No resets — after a failed evaluation you buy a new one.

Funded account activation fee, due within 7 days of passing: one-time, the current amount is shown next to the account in the table (Apex changes it during promotions); "No Activation Fee" accounts pay nothing.

I have prior payouts approved with 1-2…

I have prior payouts approved with 1-2 business days. I have requested numerous payouts of the dates February 20th, February 23rd & a most recent one of March 2nd. I have been waiting on an approval of over 6-7 business days. Whenever I email support I usually getting a response same business days. I have yet to hear back from support. I would just like some help please.

Absolute shit company

Absolute shit company. They release new accts and say they dont deny payouts. The literal first day after this implementation I have a denied payout tag on my account. IT WAS LITERALLY PENDING WITH ALL CHECKS THAT SAID IT WOULD BE APPROVED. STILL NO WORD ON PAYMENT 9 days later....

Worst prop firm in the game they dont want profitable traders they want you to blow your account and you only recieve 6 payouts then they close your account. do not buy this its a major rip off and scam. they constntly change their rules

If I could give zero stars I would! They change the rules constantly on their performance accounts. They speak of violations but don’t support it so you don’t repeat the same mistakes. I’ve paid 3k to them in fees in two years and haven’t seen a dime of returns.

Stay away!!!

Stay away!!!! Choose any other Prop Platform out there besides APEX!! Darrell Martin is a CROOK and I promise you you will pay a ton of fees and end up getting screwed in the end. Everyone responds in email instantly when you are buying accounts, paying for resets, etc. As soon as there is a system or payment issue, maybe you’ll get a response weeks later. BEWARE, they will be out of business real soon or Darrell will disappear like he did from his last firm before he got caught and then started APEX. Leave now or you’ll be sorry.
